[5 V] This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

[Aluminum] I was glad to find this. It's the only clamp I could find with 1/4 holes perpendicular to the clamp (the same line as the pipe I was clamping to). Several 1/4 & 3/8 to pick from.

[Straight] You may ask yourself (as I did) how to justify the price of this track vs old fashioned Schedule 80 Aluminum Pipe. If you own a Grip Truck then no big deal, but if you drive a car well then ... The problem with regular pipe is the compromises you make in carrying pieces short enough to fit in your vehicle. I was considering just using shorter pieces of aluminum pipe with the "70ES Locking Splices" to join them together. That would require multiple pipes, multiple 70ES Splices, drilling a bunch of holes and buying a Carrying Case. At the end of the day, the "DIY" method would have been cheaper financially, but also cheaper performance wise, assembly wise and aesthetically. I decided to just get the Official Dana Dolly Track and I'm glad I did! It goes together quickly and seamlessly (very smooth rolling) better on both counts than the 70ES Splices would have been. Also, it looks much more professional than DIY Aluminum Pipe with holes drilled in the sides for the Splices. It packs up into a relatively small bag and is easy to throw in the trunk. It allows me to have a fairly long track run available for the client in case needed, something that wasn't possible with regular pipe.

[5.8 lb] In my line of work I've used cases from Pelican, Pelican Air, and SKB, as well as Nanuk. All will protect your delicate equipment equally well. Where Nanuk pulls away from the pack, in my opinion, is with their hook and claw closure system. It is remarkably efficient to use whether you only have one hand free, or are operating in extremely cold conditions. Watch for a sale and you won't be disappointed. BTW, B&H shipped it to me (1500 miles) in less than 48hours.

[12.18 lb] This is my first Air Pelican and I am impressed with the weight/durability of this line. I was looking for a do it all case (checked airline luggage/strapped to top of the overlander/electronics carrier) and this case fits the bill. The size is great without being too big and the 'older' latching system works great for me. To boot, B&H had them for a great price. I bought two and am so happy I will be picking up a 1535 Air.
