Chrome Notebook Laptop Computer

[1920 x 1080] I have dual monitors on my main computer, one in the dining room as a Chrome and Youtube station, and just bought a fourth for my six channel CCTV security system.

[5 x 4 x 0.02"] Was converting a little used 11.6 Lenovo laptop from windows 7 to a chrome book. I had problems getting the lenovo to recognize the usb Sandisk that I had put the Chrome recovery software on. Had read to try another brand of USB stick so I bought this Transcend 16 GB drive and the Lenovo recognized it right away. The installation went well and we kept it out of a landfill.

[2400 TB] Friend had older laptop that was so slow. She has limited budget and is saving for a new PC, yet current unit took over 3 minutes to boot. And Chrome took about 25 seconds to fire up. This SSD came to the rescue! Cleaned up some Windows 10 stuff, cloned old 5,400 rpm 500 GB disk to the PNY CS900 500GB SSD. Wow, she's so happy! For under $40 it's never been this fast, even when new. Boot time about 30 seconds and Chrome loads in ~ 3 seconds. Fantastic value.

[Plastic] Wanted a blue-tooth mouse to use with a new notebook computer. This mouse is a nice price, feels good in my hand and works perfectly.

[Universal] I like my new DNA 16 Pro Camera Messenger Bag. I was surprised how much space there actually was. I got the 16 basically so I could carry my notebook computer and if I were not going to take my notebook, I could easily go with a smaller bag. Right now I carry 2 mirrorless bodies, a 16mm-24mm, 24mm-70mm and 70mm-200mm lenses w/lens hoods, memory cards, card reader, extra batteries and recharge, Notebook computer w/electric plug, external hard drive, paper pad, pen and pencils, hooded foldable rain jacket and other misc. items. It does get somewhat heavy but for carrying short distances, it's fine. I'll probably refine what I carry the more l use it. The addition of the carrying handle is much appreciated.

[Zipper] The Thule 15.6 laptop bag is perfect for safely and securely transporting my 16 inch laptop. There is adequate padding provided to protect it from minor bumps and drops. Along with both a handle for carrying, it It also provides a shoulder strap. It additionally provides several added zippered and padded pockets for peripherals that might be needed for its use along with a strap that slips over the extended handle of a rolling bags that will secure it to a rolling bag when transiting through airports. There is no question that it is well made and will last the test of time. At the time of purchase I also ordered the Thermaltake Notebook Cooler which keeps my laptop from overheating during extended use. It amounts to minimally elevated ergonomic designed platform to provide a comfortable typing angle. It is made of plastic and a metal mesh with a small light weight, silent fan, providing the cooling. It has an adjustable speed knob to set the needed cooling. It will accommodate up to a 17 inch laptop. There are rubber tabs at the corners to keep the laptop from sliding off of the platform. I would however advise using this product on a flat hard surface as it functions on air flow. If it is used sitting on your lap or other like surface it’s efficiency will be significantly reduced. It provides an attached USB cable to connect to a power source. The cable is conveniently stored in its base. I ran both the laptop and Notebook Cooler off of my PowerCore. As an plus to this setup the NoteBook Cooler fits inside a it’s own secondary Thule zippered pocket. In the remaining pockets in the Thule bag there was still room for with my laptop and its necessary peripherals. If I wanted there was still additional padded space for an iPad and iPhone. This package met all of my wishes in providing me with a functioning, protected mobile technology base. PS The Thermaltake Notebook Cooler was purchased from B&H for $19.99. Can’t beat that.

[4.135 lb] Bought it for work. Great for laptop, many compartments to organize my iPad, notebook, etc. Love the smaller design too.
