[9] This lens might be on the low end of cine lenses but it provides a gorgeous video. 5 |

[T2.2] With an ownership of less than a month, this lens has dramatically improved the way I take photographs. Wanting to look for a third party lens, I decided to look for a prime lens that could come down to a low F-Stop for photography. But after research, consideration of the capabilities of my camera, and future endeavors, I opted to look for a cine lens. Budgetary restraints kept me looking for lenses with a low price, but I didn’t want a lens that would zoom when focus pulling. Then I came across a review for a series of the Rokinon DSX High-Speed Cine Lens. My need for a telephoto lens fueled my purchase of the 135mm T2.2, and the quality of the images has not disappointed me yet. Allowing the camera to do the work for you, takes away for the experience of photography. Another reason a person should consider purchasing a cine lens is because of the mechanics. One could get carried away by allowing a lens’s auto-focus capabilities, but sometimes lens doesn’t know what you’d want to focus on. Cine lenses do not typically have this feature, but it forces you to really take control of how you want your images to look and improves how you get creative with your photos. Made for professionals but should be considered by beginners. This lens, like many cine lenses, doesn’t have autofocus features because it has been designed to be used for cinematography and film production. The T-Stop and Focus Pull have been outfitted with rotary gears, so you can attach a focus pulling system, if you would like to boost the quality of the cinematography. But for photography, the focus pulling system wouldn’t be necessary. To sum up everything, the 135mm T2.2 Rokinon DSX High-Speed Cine Lens, can improve how you capture your images. The manual mechanical features is a great way to combat the reliance of the lens to know what you want. This professional grade piece of equipment, doesn’t just have to be used for large projects, but also smaller, everyday occurrences. 5 |

[16mm] I've fallen in love with the Rokinon Cine DS series. These are perfect lenses for the BMPCC 6K as they're full manual cine lenses with cine gears for follow focus systems. This lens isn't as fast as the other Cine DS T1.5 lenses but the angle of view, even cropped at 1.63 is phenomenal, but you have to drop one stop from T3.1 as they will have a chromatic shift fully opened, as a cinematographer tho you're likely shooting T4-5.6-8 depending on your lighting situation. The only drawback of this lens is the fixed hood which isn't removable. It's not a bad thing, but just a little weird if trying to use it with a matte box. 5 |

[Yes (Mono)] We use it for live events as a rental option and Is great projector and brand. We have purchased 2 more, but in an accident, the lens broke. How can it fix or change the lens? 5 |

[Yes] I did a lot of homework before purchasing this lens, even renting it first. Bought the lens shortly after the rental agreement was up as I was so impressed with this lens. Read lots of reviews etc. Is it expensive, depends but if whats important to you are the images, then this lens will not let you down. Sure, there is distortion on the wide end but easily corrected with most image software. I am very happy with my purchase. 5 |

[0.65 lb] I rented this out from lens rental to test it out and see how well it performed. Surprisingly this lil' guy delivered spot on crisp dialogue. The simple interface of choosing lo-pass or hi-pass filtering was extremely easy to do on the fly when certain unwanted sounds or drones would occur. The -10 db switching is an option as well but I didn't need to use it since this project was an interview setting and not really needed for any explosions or screaming effects. I hooked it up via the Zoom H6 and using my Sennheiser Pro 280 headphones, the project went smoothly without any hiccups or issues. Also knowing that a fully charged NTG4+ via lithium ion meant ease of mind when operating and not worrying about whether I had batteries to replace in case. All in all, I will definitely be picking up one of these and couldn't be happier with the results! 5 |

[0.4 oz / 11.0 g] I have had this lens for about 10 days after having previously tried it on a rental. For landscape, when focused properly, it is extremely sharp and the color rendition is phenomenal. Before purchasing this lens, I had also tried the Milvus 15mm 2.8, the Milvus 35mm 1.4 and the Otus 28mm 1.4. This lens is so close to the Otus that it's hard to justify the difference in cost unless one is a full time high end professional. Frankly, I can't really see where there is any obvious difference, even enlarged up to 20"x30". The lens is used on a Nikon D810. 5 |

[5.5 lb] I had to upgrade my backpack because I needed additional room for a rental Nikon Lens 600M and one more camera (NikonZ8) for an upcoming winter wonderland in Yellowstone!! My smaller backpack could not accommodate the rental equipment. Very well made and happy with my purchase! 5 |
