[0.175 lb] It is one of the most expensive circular polarizing filters available, but I went for it after finding that a leading and very well-reviewed competitor's similar model imparted an annoying warming tint to all the photos. Used on my Canon 100-400mm F4-5-5.6L II USM lens, the Hoya is thin, rotates easily without binding, secures the Canon lens cap completely, and imparts no discernible tint, while it does its job of upping the sky contrast and intensifying the colors in the scene otherwise obscured by light reflections. Worth the doubling in price, from my point of view.

[UV] Two of the most useful filters that any photographer should have, a UV for every lens and a Circular Polarizing Filter for every size. The UV filter is obvious, protecting the front element of your much more expensive lens, but the Circular Polarizer is the go to filter for many photography situations. Buying both at the same time, as with this Twin Pack, is convient when you purchase a lens that has a filter size that you don't already own.

[0.195 lb] Circular polarizing filters are a no brainer; everyone should have one for every lens size they use. Where there is light, there will be reflections, and you'll likely need a polarizer. That being said, Tiffen is a quality filter that won't break the bank and will provide years of good service. I'm still using Tiffen filters I purchased more than 25 years ago. This one is no different. Clear glass, solid construction, great value. I had the chance to meet a Tiffen representative once, many years ago, and we had a nice chat about filters, light wavelengths, refraction and filmmaking. I found out later that the rep was Nat Tiffen, himself.

[5.6 x 4 x 0.8"] I purchased these filters together because it was a better deal than buying the UV filter by itself & I have to say I'm so glad I did! The Circular Polarizing Filter is AWESOME

[105 mm] This is a Beautiful Circular Polarizing Filter made Well. No 'Spots' left by some Circular Polarizing filters and easy to adjust with smooth operation. The Best I've seen for cutting the glare while Enhancing the Rich tones and edges.

[Brass] Upon receiving my Heliopan 72mm High-Transmission Circular Polarizing Multi-Coated Filter, I made two preliminary exposures to test the filter. I am accustomed to polarizing filters darkening the sky, but I noticed that this filter also increased color detail in trees to an extent I have never seen before. Check out the two images to see the difference. Yes, this filter is expensive but I don't think I will ever be satisfied with my other CPL filters again. I'm going to have to replace my Formatt Hitech filters in 67mm, 77mm, and 82mm. Dang! Why does this filter have to be so good??

[52 mm] I have had numerous Polarizing filters for film and digital photography, but I have never had much use for them until Tiffen made their new HT series and now I am hooked. I placed this filter on a Canon EF 24 - 105 f/4 L IS USM Lens Mounted on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and cruised the Alaskan Inside Passage. I love to shoot the surface of water with or without reflections, water falls, glaciers, waves and such. The results that I had were spectacular to say the least. I was able to get beautiful reflections without glare along with nice saturated colors. This filter is still on my lens and will stay until it is absolutely not required for the work at hand - then it goes back on.
