[9000 Bytes] I purchased this to install alongside the TL-SG3428X 24-Port managed switch. The SFP+ ports are NOT picky and have worked with Dell, Intel, Cisco, 10GTEK, and every other SFP+/SFP module or DAC cable I could find. I tried 1Gb T-based modules. 10Gb T-based modules. 1Gb SFP LC modules. 10Gb SFP+ modules. All worked flawlessly. This thing uses very little power, and generates no real heat while using DAC cables or Fiber. The memory usage and CPU utilization are extremely low, and even at full 10Gb speeds between two clients the CPU is just sitting at idle. I have it linked to an Omada controller I installed on a Debian 11 VM and the Features you get for this price I have a hard time fathoming it. Some say these are clones of Ubiquiti stuff and I can believe it. The stability and speed are great, the power and resource usage is great, the compatability and ease of use are great, and the ability to manage it all from a web UI with Omada or the built-in webserver is great. I have since converted my entire network to TP-Link managed devices, with unmanaged QNAP QSW-308S-US switches in each room.

[FCC, CE, RoHS] I purchased this to install alongside the TL-SX3008F 8-Port managed SFP+ switch. I tried 1Gb T-based modules. 10Gb T-based modules. 1Gb SFP LC modules. 10Gb SFP+ modules. All worked flawlessly. This thing uses very little power, and generates no real heat while using DAC cables or Fiber. The memory usage and CPU utilization are low, at 1Gb/10Gb speeds between a dozen clients the CPU is sitting at 21%. [0.085 lb] This is a very good transceiver for the price. It allows you to adapt SFP+ to 1, 2.5, 5.0 and 10Gb Ethernet. Used this as the downlink from Netgate 4200 2.5Gb to UniFi USW-Aggregation switch. It does use more power than typical fiber or optical transceiver, but well worth it for this use case.

[Internal] This more than doubled my speed from the Cisco I was using.

[10 to 95% ()] Working very well so far. 10gb ports mix seamlessly with other 1gb ports.

[1 nm (-20 dB)] Gets hot, but works well. Great SFP+ modules compatibility.
