Citizen Solar Watch Battery

[25 mm] I had originally gotten this to watch the total solar eclipse 2024. I then realized that i can use to for watching solar flares on other days too. This binoculars was a big hit during the eclipse and was used by many of my friends during the event. This is best used on a tripod to eliminate shake, which I do.

[4 oz / 115 g] This solar filter worked great! I have the 114az, and with this filter, we were able to watch the eclipse (for us, a partial) and have watched the sun spots cross over the face of the sun over the past week. B&H was great at shipping and keeping me informed of the status of my order! I will be using them again soon.

[0.92 lb] I use this battery to charge my devices while on location in remote areas, and I keep the Power Bank itself charged via a solar panel at the same time (during the day, via the USB C input only port), which is is well matched with one of my panels outputs. I can simultaneously power / charge my MacBook Pro 13 via the USB C in/out port, 2 Canon LP-EN6 batteries (with Nitecore UCN2 Pro QC), my phone or a Gopro 10, though that would pretty much drain all its juice if the toys were flat to start with, so, for multi day missions, you may want more than one, or make sure you can keep up with the Solar charging... The two USB-C Ports are not the same, if you have ~40W or more of solar power, make sure to use the in/out port, else you will lose half of your available solar power if using the in only port... I made up a USB-C to 12V cigarette / car charging outlet adapter, which allowed me to charge a DJI Drone battery using a DJI car battery charger, though it may actually charge better from the solar panel directly - this system is not the most efficient solution, but I can charge at night... I also use it to supply extra power to cameras placed to run for extended periods, or for cameras with high power demand via the USB-C out. This is far lighter and more affordable per Ah than many other options, and I have had no issues, including use from rainforests with 100% humidity to below freezing conditions. Buying more before my next expedition...

[Download] The Goal Zero Nomad 20 is a great portable solar panel. I haven't given it a lot of use yet, but already it works as intended. I am able to charge my phone off it when the sky is overcast. In direct sunlight, it charges faster. I was also able to charge a usb battery pack, that doubles as a car jump starter, while out camping where there was no electricity. This was handy, considering I drained my car battery running a waffle maker. Downsides? it doesn't come with a carrying strap, though it isn't hard to add one.

[8 Hours] If you have a piece of property that you would like to monitor remotely this is the product for you! Between the solar panel and large battery this guy lasts forever and does a great job at capturing motion at a affordable price for plans too!

[Black] I hooked up the solar panels to the charger today. The panels and charger are on my in full sun. Started at 29% battery and now is at 42%. Charges at a slower pace. It’s been charging for about 2 hours. I have four panels for 400 watts.
