[4°] Great base station, fast processing and shipping!

[15x GMRS] Haven't really had a chance to try it out yet, am setting up a base station. However, I applaud Midland for marketing a radio that has the transmit power that is advertised. Right smack dab on 5 watts, maybe a tad over, according to my cross needle power/swr meter. The radio seems well built, with well implemented controls. I would prefer a better microphone connection that would facilitate disconnection of the mike if desired.

[1] The earbuds come with a very good selection of ear tips, with and without the little wings on them. It was easy to find a pair that fit just right. The sound is excellent. It takes a good 3-5 seconds for the device to activate or turn off, so be patient holding the on/off button. The manual can be downloaded from the web and is then easy to read for charging, on/off, and Bluetooth pairing instructions. I tried pairing the earbuds with my cordless phone and had to be near the base station to do so. However, I have not got the earbuds to work with the cordless phones even when near the base station, but I am fairly sure that is a function of the phones and not the earbuds. I don't know how long the battery will last on a charge since I have not reached that point yet. The one slight annoyance is that the controls are close to one of the earpieces, so you to feel your way to the on/off and volume controls if you don't want to take that earbud out of your ear. But over all, this is a very good, light weight set of earbuds.

[6 x 2.5 x 0.5"] Using this as the base for a wireless video monitor station. A little heavy, but surprisingly stable. Portable size is not too large. Doesn't feel like it needs a sandbag for stability, but the layout allows for some extra peace of mind.

[USB] First thing: You need to increase the volume on the input (TV or computer) to at least 50% in the base and then you can reduce the volume at the receiver. If you keep the volume low from the computer then you would hear the compression making a hissing noise or cutting to low frequency (like violins and cello) cutting off. Increasing the volume on the input is the way to use this device. it is also mentioned in the manual as well. This is nothing wrong with the system. It just needs the energy to pass its low pass filer. 1. The audio compression and sound profiles are good but I dont use them. Good that you can disable them. There are three sound profiles and the you can turn the selected one on-off from the remote. but you need to go to the base to select the sound profile. I keep mine off (unfiltered) and it is pretty good. 2. According to the manual you can pair three additional remotes to the same base so that you can have 4 remote headphones in total. 3. This is better than any other bluetooth solution. Plus it lets you use your favorite headset. 4. Works even if you are not in the direct line of sight of the base station. 5. Will cause magnetic interference with a microphone if it is close to the base station. 6. The remote lasts 12 hours on full charge (according to the manual). It will not work if it is on the base station and charging. It will only work if it is lifted off the base station.

[24.87 lb] I used this case as the base for a ground station for FPV flying. I had to drill a number of holes in the case to mount various parts, but no issues with case integrity even after drilling. The case is sturdy enough to hold the 4+ pound ground station on a Slik U8000 tripod made without buckling. I prefer the SKB cases to Pelican cases for ease of opening and closing. SKB uses a mechanical closure while the Pelicans use a friction lock. The SKBs are much easier to open and close while still keeping the case well sealed. I highly recommend any SKB case.

[15 W] Purchased to put in my travel trailer as a base station when on hunting trips. I have also purchased other micro mobile units for my Jeep and Quad. I can now keep in touch with the family when they are out in the woods.

[10 A] I love this power station! As an avid backpacker, I have a base camp set-up and this power station is perfect for that! It runs all my needed gadgets along with some comfort gadgets before & after my backpacking trip. Since it only weighs 13 lbs., it's easy to transport. Plus, it fully charges within an hour. And I have so many ways to charge it (in my vehicle, while driving to where my base camp is going to be; AC; USB & solar). Plus, it's so easy to use. This is perfect for outdoor trips, house back-up, etc. I couldn't be happier!
