[125 kHz] I haven’t used the calibration card yet, but the quality seems good.

[IPS-Type LCD] The monitor is excellent - color accuracy (Adobe RGB), uniformity, etc... probably the best manufacturer of monitors with hardware calibration (built-in LUT)... with second place to BenQ. I just wish hardware calibration monitors were less expensive (sad face)!

[ARRI PL] This is faster than setting a white balance calibration with a card, plus it also provides standard references for absolute black, highlights and a few greys in between.

[3 oz / 80 g] This is the update of the older Passport, looks great, better construction and new grey card with diferentes percents of calibration, perfect.

[3H] I don't know about video editing, but this is a great monitor for photo editing. It has a 14 bit LUT which means I can calibrate using my i1 Display Pro for hardware calibration vs just software calibration. This means my color profile is internal to the monitor hardware and not the computer software. It covers close to 100% ARGB which is the color space I shoot and edit in. The detail I see in photos is much greater than what I saw in my previous monitor. You can't beat the 4K. And if I decide to take a break I can watch a movie in 4K video. Look, compared to higher end monitors, you can't beat the price on this. Lower priced monitors don't have internal LUTs. In my opinion this monitor falls between those and the higher end models costing twice as much and sometimes 3 times as much. This is not an entry level monitor for photographers but it is definitely a pro monitor at a very reasonable price.

[2560 x 1440] I’ve been using this monitor for color grading, and it has been superb. The colors look great and and the self calibration is a nice feature. Overall, I’m impressed and recommend it.

[120 Hz] Beautiful monitor! Has all needed color spaces for colorist and fits great in a small studio. For easier calibration I recommend downloading LG calibration studio from official website.

[27"] Solid monitor! As suspected, color needed only tiny amount of calibration out of the box for photo editing.

[27"] As a film editor/colorist, color accuracy is extremely important to help you move forward with confidence when delivering a final product. I consistently calibrate my monitors weekly and dangling a probe over the monitor can get annoying. For me, having a monitor that calibrates itself, while storying the calibration to the monitor and not the operating system, streamlined my workflow by saving time. It means I can move this monitor to any computer, like my remote setup when on location, and know the color calibration will be consistent across all platforms. I have been using Flanders Scientific monitors for years, but as a Mac user, that means I needed a PC laptop to calibrate the monitor and a video I/o device to output SDI. As a result, I really started using it less because of the inconvenience. Plus, most of the content I create is for web and social media platforms which means 99% of the content is being viewed on a computer or smartphone. I wanted to be working on content in an atmosphere that the end user would be viewing in. There are other monitors at this price point that can seem more enticing. The ASUS PA32DC was similar in price and the spec sheet seemed to be better by comparison. But doing research between Eizo and ASUS shows the biggest difference was reliability and customer service. Eizo has received glowing reviews in the categories that matter most at the end of the day. While ASUS offers an OLED display, I am already using a LG C series OLED tv which is twice the size, half the price, and amazing color accuracy once calibrated. I have included photos that showcase the size comparison to the Flanders, the calibration probe activating, the color profile options and how well thought out the packaging is by including carrying handles for delivery. I will circle back to this review after a couple years of using the monitor to update everyone on the long term performance.
