Easy to connect to your wifi, All my family members are able to use thru the local network, my kids use for school homework, my husband take the advantage for his job, and I love print photos for my craft books. super fast and economical. [256 MB] this was my first laser printer. I always had ink jet printers in the past. since I don't use color that much, decided to go with black only, laser. Quite, easy to use, cartridge last a long time. Very satisfied!

[Extended] Well, I haven't had it very long but it does what you expect it to do. Like all laser printers it will not do quite as good a job with photos as the inkjet photo printers but it still does a great job with the default 4800 CQ resolution. There are a lot of user interface options. Personally, I just use the webpage interface. It allows you to import and export the settings making it easy to save and restore the settings used for a particular job type. I had no idea you could get a duplexing color laser printer at this price point. Of course a full set of toner cartridges cost more than the printer so you need to take that into consideration when buying it. I'm not sure how many copies you can get with the cartridges that come with it but I am sure it is a lot less than a standard cartridge. The high capacity bundle which gives 5,500 pages for the color cartridges and 8,000 for the B&W, lists for $829. It was very easy to unbox and setup. Replacing the toner cartridges is easy. I haven't managed to jam it yet, but it doesn't look like it will be too hard to unjam.

[Black] I have two Canon iP8720 printers I use primarily for printing photos for my scrapbooking hobby. I use only Canon ink cartridges in both printers and have never been disappointed in the photos. I'm especially pleased with the black and white photos printed. The varying tones of black and gray are great. Some of my scrapbooks were created more than 9 years ago with photos printed on these Pixma printers with Canon inks. The colors are as bright today as they were when the scrapbooks were created. I also use only Canon photo paper too. I love the results from my Canon products.

[600 x 600 dpi] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m the owner of a small sword fighting/ martial arts school. We do a fair amount of printing for promotions. A good color printer is essential to our success. For the last ten years we have used a HP Color Laser Jet CP1518ni. It has been an excellent partner in our endeavors. The best suitable upgrade appears to be the new HP Laser Jet Pro 4201dn. It’s full color capability and high speed printing (@ 35PPM) it is exactly what we need. Installation was as easy as plugging in the USB cord and performing the guided setup on the 2.7” screen by running through a few menus. The one challenge presented was that the scroll button/knob doesn’t seem secure and sturdy. The best feature of this printer for me is that the toner cartridges are reasonably priced and produce thousands of copies per cartridge. This printer is one of the best values out there today. I’m looking forward to many years of service.
