Compact Computer Speakers With Subwoofer

[9.75 lb] I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.

[ViennaKey] Use it with my home computer. Placed the subwoofer under the table and the left/right speakers on either side of the computer. Overall effect of the sound is great with no imbalance. Own it for a month now.

[91 dB] These speakers have good highs and also midrange, the bass could be a little better...but with my subwoofer it doesn't matter much. The appearance of the speaker are very nice having the piano gloss look....looks like very exspensive speakers, for the money you can't beat these speakers!

[17 x 17 x 17"] I bought this subwoofer to enhance my current JBL 305P MkII speakers. The sound produced is sweet. Deep, round bass and powerful to boot. Quite satisfied with my purchase at sale price.

[Black] This is my first set of proper studio monitors. Previously, I had been using Sony bookshelf speakers with a subwoofer and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro headphones. I really like these JBL 306 monitors. In my 10x10 room these speakers produce plenty of bass, even for electronic music a subwoofer would be overkill. I bought mine on sale for $240, yet I think they are worth at least the $400 original price tag. For small to medium studios I think these 306’s are perfect, I think the 308’s would be a waste of money and a waste of space.

[Rubber Feet] This subwoofer mates really well with the Bluetooth SVS bookshelf speakers. It even provides a Bluetooth app that enables access to all subwoofer controls from the app. It really completes the sound with the SVS speakers, providing complementary accurate base with a high degree of musicality.

[2-Way] The B&H shopping experience was top notch as usual. I had done a ton of research before deciding upon Audioengine A2+ speakers. The research seems to have paid off. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome the speakers sound right out of the box. Some of the reviews I had read indicated a subwoofer is required to really bring out the speakers. I decided to listen to them for a few days without a subwoofer before adding one to judge for myself. While I found the bass a little flat, I felt that as computer desk speakers, they sounded great. I later added an 8 subwoofer and Holy Cow did that ever make a difference! Now the speakers sparkle accompanied by deep rich bass. I love listening to music at my desk and the Audioengine A2+ speakers (with subwoofer) makes that experience way more pleasurable. I highly recommend the speakers.
