Computer Desk Monitor Lift

[Landscape] I have a stand-up desk and previously had 2 monitors on it, which was awkward at best when I stood up. So I replaced the 2 monitors with one 40" monitor....which was even MORE cumbersome on the lift-up! I was desperate to find a way to make the monitor useful for both sitting and standing....and the Mount-It Tripod was the perfect solution. I now have the full workspace surface of my lift-up AND the massive real estate of the single, large monitor....AND I can easily raise or lower the monitor on the stand to accommodate whichever position I choose. I highly recommend the Mount-It Tripod. It's solidly built, steady as they come and was a breeze to set up!

I love these glass stands; I purchased two of them, one for a computer, and one for an additional monitory, and they were incredibly easy to assemble and set up on my desk. They are very sturdy, no shifting, tilting, or anything that would detract from their function. Additionally, the clear glass makes it possible to see things that may have slid under the computer or monitor, and to help you see what you are doing when you plug your computer in to a power source. The glass does not detract from any color scheme you may have; it just sort of disappears from one's awareness except for remembering its great functionality! I have post-its and other small office supplies on the glass that holds my computer, so I can slide the keyboard underneath when I am not working on the computer. I use the other stand for an oversize monitor, and can keep desk items both on the glass stand and underneath it as well.These stands have really helped me to maximize my work surface. They are so useful and the best desk accessory I have purchased in a long time. I have used several types before these, and these are far better because they are very sturdy and they are clear.

[Aluminum] The Ergotron is well-built and accommodates a variety of monitor and computer options. The unit arrived well-packaged and partially assembled. Final assembly and setup took less than an hour. Using the desk, the sit/stand function works well, and the adjustable tension/lift-assist makes it easy to move the desk up and down. The casters are great on hard floors or tight pile carpeting. Overall, this is a great desk. It's a more expensive, but you get what you pay for in the quality of the build.

[5.1] Love the small profile of this computer - it tucks under the monitor stand on my desk without infringing on my workspace. I usually work in multiple programs simultaneously & this computer handles that without any problems.

[1] Perfect small tool for getting computer audio into an audio system. Sounds clear and has ground lift as needed.

[0.435 lb] Long cable - ground lift switch and volume. Only stereo 1/8" to xlr mono. No stereo out options. Attenuatir at max is zero Db. Volume only fades out to negative Db. It is reversable direction as i have recently used the XLR with a turnaround to receive a feed from audio and 1/8" mini as input to muc jack on computer to do last minute recording on a PC. worked well. I use these primarily for corporate events. For simple uses in computer- phone or mp3 volume- ideal.

[0.11 lb] I was looking for a stand to be able to lift a computer to put at eye line for live-streaming and for home recording, this is it. It has plenty of height and is super sturdy, even high up. My one small complaint if I had one is that the padding on the bottom is a little high so it makes the lip made to prevent sliding off not quite as effective. That being said, I have no worries having my MacBook Pro sitting on it.
