[Fluid Head] This is not a tripod package for a lightweight camera. So putting just a DSLR, no rails, cage, monitor, FF, Mattebox, etc.., on it is under-kill as this tripod really doesn't start to perform until there is weight upon the head. If your heaviest setup is under 10LBs then find a different tripod as you won't be happy with this as the head will be fighting itself when panning and the legs will lift up. The pan and tilt friction knobs will cause a shudder and squeak if you don't have enough weight upon the head when using them...however when weight of the proper range is put atop the tripod head, and the counterbalance is properly selected, the pan and tilt friction boost knobs do wonders at increasing the smooth motion. A good rule of thumb regarding the counterbalance selection switch is 12. If it's under 12 choose 1, if it's over twelve try 2. The legs seem well made and sturdy. This tripod can go very high and also very low...which is great for those dutch angles. This does very much seem like a tripod system you could take out into the field, forest, mountains and streams and come back happy with.

[Fluid Head] I am extremely happy with this tripod system. I recently upgraded from Bogen Manfrotto systems (501, 503, 516) heads. I did a lot of research online as to what tripod would be the best for a budget of $1,300 or less and selected the VInten Blue. I recently received it, tested it out, and used it to shoot a wedding last Saturday, and I must say that I am very impressed. Everything about the system is well thought out and professional. The legs lock and unlock with a distinct mechanism so that you can adjust them confidently and quickly, there is a built-in mechanism that is a clever way to secure the tripod when it is collapsed, the ball head is much easier to adjust than other tripods I have used, the perfect balance system is extremely nice (allows you to tilt the head forward or back, and when you release the head it stays at that angle perfectly), the pant and tilt drag can be dialed in and there are numbers for the drag so that it's repeatable, I like that you can illuminate the level bubble so that you can make sure the head is level in dark environments, the bag works well, and the #1 feature is that the head is extremely smooth. I was shooting video with a Canon EF 70-200mm lens at the 200mm end, and I could easily make very smooth adjustments that were extremely fluid. So much better than my previous experience with tripod heads. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and this is a high quality system. I wish that the sticks could get the head up a little higher (more than 6 feet or so), but I could have always bought a different set of sticks for that :) Also, the mid-level spreader was a little tricky for me to figure out at first (because I hadn't used one before and because there are instructions for the legs and head that came with it, but not the mid-level spreader), but it's easy to connect and disconnect, and I figured it out soon enough. Great tripod system.

[3] Okay, I wish the legs would drop freely under gravity, but that's a problem of all lightweight/carbon tripods. It's just faster. The plate-locking lever at first was vexing: it's very much blocked by most cameras. But then I discovered that it's spring-loaded - pops out so you can easily re-position the angle of the lever for very simple tighten/loosen action. The fluid head is wonderful, just a tip: if you change the tension on pan or tilt (these are detented/indexed) you should also immediately pan/tilt so the mechanism can click into place. Thus when you execute your pan or tilt for real, you'll have a nice smooth start. The bag is super nice, with an extra compartment for spare parts like spikey feet and/or an extra QR plate, and thickly padded internal hook/loop straps that go around the head and the clamps, very nicely protecting everything. It even has a strap to hang onto the handle, if you're the sort who removes that (I just loosen it and pivot it down to parallel).

[0.155 lb] The tripod and the 3 way pan tilt/head works well together. The head and tripod are well made. The tripod telescopic legs are extended with minimum effort The 3 way head is very userfull for top or side view photos, videos.

[12.3 lb] NO stand legs to get in the way and hang over the edge of the stage! Nice tilt adjustment for mic.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I love how nicely and smoothly the pan and tilt for this head works. It's just that the bottom of it was flat so it didn't fit the legs I had bought (my legs had a rounded bottom), so unfortunately I had to return it.

[4 (16 Cascade)] This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

[Scissor] I wanted a wireless key board with the numeric keypad...I do a lot of date entry. Chose the Apple product over others because of past experience with Apple products. Also looked at other manufacturers and customer comments...this clinched my decision to buy the Apple product. It is a great keyboard and meets all of my expectations. One thing to note, previous Apple keyboards have tabs underneath that allows you to tilt the front of the keyboard up...this keyboard does not have that feature. I put a small piece of wood under the key board to tilt mine up.
