[87 ppi] Got this square-ish (5:4) monitor from B&H. Its the neat form factor I wanted for the home office, not a wide screen. Its beautiful. Premium stand and screen. Comes with all cables (USB, HDMI, and VGA - although I couldnt connect the monitor to the computer via USB but see below. Used the HDMI) and solid, polished hardware. You snap and twist it together in two seconds. It works as expected and I love it. BONUS: Two USB ports on the monitor. For these USB ports to work and sync you need to connect the monitor to the computer via the USB (in addition to the HDMI cable). Maybe thats what the USB cable and port behind the monitor are there for (and not to be the primary means of connecting the monitor to the computer). So maybe Im not such a klutz after all? [IPS-Type LCD] Mounts with a pair of magnets, plugs into a USB port on the monitor. You have to plug in the USB-C cable to the computer (which also carries video as well as USB). To get it to work with an M2 Mac Mini, I had to install Dell's DDPM app for the U2421E - otherwise none of the USB ports worked on the monitor. 5 |
