Control Cat Tokyo Game

[76.5° to 12°] I got this len while visiting Tokyo last week. The image quality is great througout all zoom ranges, compatible to other XF prime lenses. The most amazing thing about this len is the OIS; it really works. I was able to get good images at 1/10 @ f5.6; ISO 3200 with my XT-1 at 135mm (206mm)! The zoom ring is a bit stiff, but I guess it will smooth out after being used for a while. The weight of this lens along w/my XT-1 feel like feather compared to my D600 + 24-70mm f2.8. This is definitely a winner.

[0.3 lb] I did a 2 hour time lapse from Tokyo to Nokogiriyama and made an AWESOME vid with my GoPro. Zero problems. Just TAKE THE BATTERY OUT FIRST. It only works with the battery removed.

[1.425 lb] Under $1000CAD to get into the motion control game. Not too shabby. Easy to use. Build feels pretty decent. Battery is okay and you can power with external banks. Set up is easy. Definitely a good addition to any smaller freelance kit.

[45 W ] I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

[1' / 0.3 m] Had to run a cat 6 cable under the building as the old cable had seen the end of its life. The Pro AV/IT Cat 6 Heavy-Duty Snagless Patch Cable filled the bill nicely and it was a very easy run installing it under the building which is a not so nice environment. It was easy to run with no kinks in the cable. I feel confident that this new cable will far outlast the last one.
