[Detachable] The cooling system works very well, keeping my processor (Core i7 7900k) below 50 Degrees (122 Fahrenheit) when it is at 100% load. The noise level of the fans is acceptable when it is at its maximum power and is very quiet at normal power.

[Dedicated] I was working on an hp 16gb 8 core i7 workstation from 2017. It would take 10 minutes to do AI denoise in lightroom on a single photo. On this workstation (32gb, 24 core i9) - it takes 15 seconds on the same photo. Using this to run adobe creative cloud suite and having zero performance issues. So pleased with this purchase.

[512 GB] I had a 2014 iMac with an i5 that I enjoyed, the 2020 i7 8 core that I bought is a lot more machine and they are now being discounted. I don't need the latest tech but my new machine has 64 Gb of RAM and is much faster, I use it with Photoshop and for video editing. I had my last iMac for 7 years with not a single problem, a well made machine. I was an original apple developer in 1997 and I still favor Apple products.

[720 Mb/s] Installed this in an older Core i7 tower to record security cameras with TrueNAS. After running exclusively SSDs for so long, this is a noisy drive, but it's working very well. Several high-bitrate cameras are recording to it simultaneously without write issues. It struggles to read the recorded data while it continues to record the camera feeds, but that's expected given the number of cameras I'm sending to a single drive right now.

[12] I upgraded from an i7 hex-core year 2016 processor to this one. This new one made a big difference in performance of compiling times for both software and video editing. My computer has that whole new feel to it performance wise. I expect to continue using this one for at least the next four years - worth every penny of the investment. This processor boasts 10 cores (20 with hyperthreading turned on). Clocks in at 2.81 GHz (I don't overclock - I want reliability) 640kb L1, 2.5mb L2, and 20mb L3 caches. Overall I am very satisfied - almost two months of use (I keep my computer running 24/7 for various home automation tasks) and no hints of problems. I use the stock cooler fan that came with it - and the average core temperature stays between 30-40 degrees Celsius, and peaks to about 80 when running heavy processing applications.

[1x 2.5"] My old 27 iMac with a quad core I7 deserved a speed bump by adding a SSD for it's OS X 10.10 beta and apps. It's boot time increased significantly and I could not be happier. The handsome blue aluminum drive enclosure was a bolt-on upgrade replacing the old Apple SuperDrive. I've given the computer to my grand-daughter and hope she enjoys working with it for several years. It's a step up from the dual core laptop we gave her a few years back.

[1x RGB] and a Core i7-9700 processor. (The new Core i7-10700 needs LGA 1200 socket). Crucial DDR4-3200 memory went right in. Installed the processor (with Thermaltake thermal grease) and a Cooler Master Cooler. Everything worked first shot. No issues at all, after over a month of use. Very pleased.

I'm upgrading from an i7 dual core macbook pro from 2017, and this is well worth the upgrade. The computer wakes instantly and it is certainly the fastest laptop I have ever used. I've been using it for a few weeks and haven't had any issues downloading or running any programs, and the design is very sleek. I'm also a huge fan of the 120Hz screen refresh rate as well, as it makes the screen much easier to look at for long periods of time!
