[1.5 to 9 V] I’ve been using many different brands, types and sizes of headsets for decades in live dialogue amplification applications. I have purchased scores of them over the years, and currently have a good sized locker of various DPA, Countryman, Sennheiser, Shure, Audio Technica, and other headset mics. Compared to the usual industry leaders, the Galaxy HSM8 sounds just fine - clean, plenty of headroom, feedback resistant, and easy to e.q. in the typical headset fashion.  My users report it to be exceptionally comfortable... “forgot I was wearing it” is typical. I like the adjustability system. Simple, makes sense, packs down quickly into the case, and most importantly it is intuitive for users to put on by themselves. This was a BIG plus for me. Right out of the box, it just seemed to sit of the average size head and work without any fussiness. Historically, I’m generally putting headsets on for people because they seem to struggle with self-installation, but the HSM-8 seems to be the welcome exception.  Last but not least, It is a HUGE plus that the mic comes with four (!) spare cables. FINALLY, a manufacturer who realizes that these fussy little cables are normal wear items that must be routinely replaced. I’m all for high end audio, but come on...The greatest sounding headset in the world Is useless if the cable routinely breaks and cannot be field repaired. (hint to DPA) And, when cables can be replaced, but spares are so expensive that I have to specially budget to carry three or four with me, that’s not much better either (Hint to Countryman).  Bottom line: Galaxy has a great idea here. A comfortable, reasonably priced headset with all the right features AND which sounds quite good. I bet they will sell a ton of them. I’m very happy with mine!

[Beige] We have used many different brands of headsets and none of them compare with the quality of the Countryman. The sound quality is excellent and the design of the headset allows for an easy fit for almost everyone. It's also very durable compared to the others we have used. The premium price is a bit painful at first but in the long run, well worth it!

[Hypercardioid] We have had an older version of this headset for a long time. So when looking for a new one we wanted to go with a Countryman again. Straight out of the box this sounded just as we expected. If you are in need of a pro headset for a singer type...they are bulletproof.

[Plug-In Power] I bought these wires to adapt our Countryman E6 mics to the new Sennheiser body packs with the lemo connectors. The replacement was a breeze. The old wire snapped out of the headset and the new wire snapped into the headset with no trouble and within seconds, I was connected to the body pack ready to go. The fit is nice and secure. The excellent build quality gives me the impression that this cable will last a while.

[Beige] Needed a replacement cable for our Countryman H6 headset mic. This works great and fits the bill.

[1x Proprietary ] I needed a replacement cable for my Countryman headset and this works perfectly. We are professional speakers and use Countryman headsets for all of our live events and webinars. It also arrived much more quickly than I expected it to. Thanks!

[Hypercardioid] Going from a Shure WL93 to a Countryman E6 is like going from a Ford Pinto to a Audi A8. The Sound is fantastic. We work in an incredibly reflective, medium sized hall, and feedback is no longer an issue. The only issue that I've personally encountered is that we are still using Shure ULX wireless transmitters/recievers, and even with the gain on both maximized, it's still not quite enough. Having to then add gain on the board adds some unwanted background noise; however, I don't blame the mics for this issue, but instead our wireless system. Overall, Great mics.

[Light Beige] My Countryman E6 microphone was purchased for use with a Shure wireless belt transmitter. I bought this repacement Countryman cable so I could use it with a Sennheiser transmitter. It works just as it's supposed to.
