[1] I bought Waves NX Head Tracker to use it with Logic Pro X in a Mac Pro Mid 2010 OS El Capitan and Bluetooth 2.1 I needed Bluetooth 4.0, so I bought this StarTech adapter. Plugged into my computer, but it was not recognized as BT 4.0. Then I downloaded Hardware_IO_Tools_for_Xcode_7.3.dmg, and installed Bluetooth Explorer in the Applications folder. Opened it, Tools menu and choose HCI Controller Selector, I clicked at the arrows and selected Broadcom Corp and clicked Activate. Done My computer recognized the StarTech adapter as Bluetooth 4, and I was able to use my excellent Waves NX Head Tracker. 5 |

[AM5] Has everything I need. Both WiFi and Bluetooth and all the control I would ever need over my AMD chip. 5 |

[Full Height] The physical drive itself is great. I really like the SoftRAID software it comes with but it has two issues: You have to completely disable Apple's T2 chip security feature for SoftRAID to install its driver. I believe if they worked with Apple, Apple could sign the driver and allow it to be installed with the T2 chip setting allowing T2 security turned on with SoftRAID driver. A fix may be on the way for that. Second, the RAID drive does not show up on the About this Mac Storage status. Not a big deal. Otherwise SoftRAID is very easy to use, clear graphical user interface. It is what Apple's RAID setup should be. So far I have had no need to use it to rebuild/recover a RAIDed drive. Therefore I can give no feedback. This is being used on a 2019 Mac Pro. 5 |

[0.1 oz / 2 g] Mini USB Bluetooth® 4.0 Adapter is a fantastic product! Better working range than other Bluetooth receivers/transmitters. Works great with Sony MDR-10R after checking ALL of the configuration for USBBT1EDR4. You MUST install ONLY the last version of the CSR Harmony software; if you have an older version installed, you MUST uninstall the older version first. The new version unfortunately does not include drivers for all of the older transmitters and you can't have more than one version installed at the same time. I highly recommend this product. 5 |

[0.045 lb] Had constant issues with my Windows PC trying to do MIDI over Bluetooth with a new synth I had. Driver problems, Bluetooth problems, configuration settings, etc, Literally spent hours multiple times trying to get things to work at all. This WIDI Bud Pro dongle solved them within minutes of plugging it in! It handles both the USB MIDI & the Bluetooth LE duties on it's own, and connected to my synth over Bluetooth within seconds and finally let me get back making music. NO more Windows screwing around trying to figure out what is going on. I'd previously purchased another CME MIDI product and was very happy with that, they seem to have MIDI & Bluetooth figured out! Now no cables or PC nightmare at all to use my new Bluetooth-capable synth. If you are a Windows user, save yourself a HUGE headache and get one of these, I don't regret it at all. 5 |

[Plastic] This lens hood was recommended by my CSR as a cheaper alternative to the Canon lens hood. Works just fine. 5 |

[Front] Nice to have B & H to order items like this. I had to call and get the exact size and the CSR was very helpful. Now, I need a keeper so I don't lose this one. :) 5 |

Got this to connect my XPS 13 from 2016/2017 to my 27" thunderbolt Apple monitor. It worked straight out of the box. However I have a Dell TB16 dock as well. Tried using that as well. So the dock's usb-c connector goes into the XPS, and the Startech adapter goes from the dock to the Thunderbolt monitor. That didn't work: I needed to update the BIOS, Thunderbolt firmware, thunderbolt driver, and installed I believe the latest thunderbolt application from the Intel website. Everything works now, even the audio and usb ports on the monitor. (facetime camera doesn't work, since it can't find a driver). All in all good buy, but I can't connect my 2019 macbook Pro to my thunderbolt monitor with the startech adapter. Monitor does not activate. Seems to only work with Windows machines. 5 |

[3.3' / 1 m] No knock on the product, but I had hoped it would connect my USB -B ported laser printer to the USB-C port on my notebook. It's an older printer and the port is USB 2.0 standard. The description for this cable said USB 2.0 so I hoped Windows would recognize the printer. The printer manufacturer (very well known Brand) does not provide a driver for Windows 10, but their Website says Windows 10 comes with a driver for it. This printer worked with my previous Windows 10 notebook via USB, and via ethernet worked with previous Windows versions back to XP. The computer would see the printer and list it's name, but would not install the driver. I tried a few other USB adapters with same problem and no luck. Turns out you need software in addition to hardware to make this conversion. I have since obtained a Startech port adapter for connecting my notebook to dual monitors, mouse, keyboard, ethernet, and the printer all through the notebooks 1 free USB-C port. Had to install drivers for the port adapter first, but now everything is working great. If you have a new printer, with installation software, this cable may work just fine. If your printer is old, you will need a port adapter with software. 5 |
