Custom Cut Laminate Wood Sheets

[13.15 lb] This is a really well-built rack with robust hardware. For essentially the same price as the plastic racks on the market today, this is the best choice for road worthiness and durability. I'm planning on replacing all of my plastic racks (Gator and SKB) because the butterfly latches tend to lose tension over time due to their reduced size. Also, the plastic racks tend to crack in the cold weather and the covers loosen up with a lot of use. This Odyssey rack is really durable, with an attractive black laminate over 3/8 plywood. All hardware is solidly riveted and the covers and latches are tight and work well. The full-size butterfly latches in recessed cups will last for decades, they also have built-in hasps for you to add your own locks for security. I think Hollywood popularized the plastic racks because they look sleek and modern, but this wood rack is also very attractive with the satin black laminate augmented with brushed chrome trim and chrome-plated hardware. Also, I personally think gear loaded in wood racks like this appears more professional looking than the plastic cases. The laminate on this rack holds paint well if you want to spay paint a stencil of your company logo, or rack contents, and dust cleans up quickly with any standard cleaner. This particular rack is a special order item with B&H. That's okay. I submitted my order with B&H and they had the rack drop shipped to me. I received it in about ten business days, no problems. I'm looking forward to replacing all of my cases with these old school Odyssey wood racks. No more plastic racks for me - what's old is new again.

[1/4"-20 Male] So the day i got these (4) i attached it to my custom wood bored pod. And put my camera and drove the speed limit in my hood. And add minimal stabilization in post and was blown away. I did no use straps or any thing. But dont go and do something dumb you camera is you money maker.

[3" / 7.6 cm] I am using this for 17x22 sheets and any custom sheets I need. It comes out much cheaper, but if your sheets need to be flat then this won't work. I used this for a 17x42 pan photo in my Canon Pro-1000. (custom size sheets must have a boarder in that printer)

[0.2 lb] I'm using this product in a somewhat unusual way. I cut the sheet into four 10x12 sheets, and then I use two of the smaller sheets on strobes in my Lastolite HiLite to produce a chroma key background. I'm using a CS5 plugin that easily detects and removes the chroma key background and allows a clean substitution with the background of my choosing.

[Glossy] Fuji CA paper is great paper. And thank you to Fuji for supplying paper in cut sheets. The paper base is a bit thin. The results are quite nice. Luster paper is very nice, glossy is great, especially when dried with a RC dryer, glossy works great for mounted print where fingerprints aren't a concern,

[Polypropylene] East to load film and to cut into segments. Get a three-binder with paper envelope sheets to store them in.

[17.465 lb] I was originally looking at a Dahle trimmer to replace one of my older rotary trimmers, then I saw this. In the course of one week, it has paid for itself already. It is super precise and makes very clean cuts. You can even shave off slivers of material, whether it is paper or corrugated cardboard. I often print many small prints on one large sheet, and I was concerned that since this was a larger size, it would be less accurate on my mini-sized (2'') prints. This trimmer lets me cut all of these small prints quickly and accurately. It could even cut the corrugated cardboard that I use for packing my prints. The edges are square and clean without fuzzing, and with thinner sheets, you can use a feather touch to move the cutting head and get perfect cuts. The hold down bar works exactly as it is supposed to, and you do not need to use extra effort or pressure to hold the sheets down to keep them from moving even when you are using slippery material. I've also used this to cut and finish laminated signs, and it works a treat! The grid lines seem quite durable.
