D Link Gigabit Router Wireless

[1 GB DDR3] TP-Link ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router was easy to set up (using it as a standalone router) and basically started working once powered on. The boot cycle is a bit slow (~2-3 mins), but once active there are no issues with all the network devices connected to it. The 4 ports are sufficient for setting up 4 different networks and the streaming devices seem to be more stable (less buffering, more responsive) than before. I should have bought this router years ago.

[4] The router is easy to set up and link to internet modem. Wireless logon from computers, laptops, phones and even tvs is quick and painless.

[104 Gb/s ] Our year 24 Port Gigabit TP-Link switch gave up the ghost after 11.5 years in continuous service. Confirmed a couple of capacitors inside were budging which is an easy fix but replacing a critical piece of production equipment with something newer and with additional features was overdue. We were deciding between this $250 model and the $350 model and decided on this as the performance was virtually identical and our small office did not need the management tools for advanced virtual networks and multiple switches. We could not be more pleased at the performance, and the benefit of POE so we do not have to use injectors for wi-fi access points or voip phones anymore. This unit is just plug and play.

[10,000 Bytes] Used this switch to add ports and Gigabit. Plugged into the other router and came up easily with no problems. Great price point as well!

[250 MHz] I'm using this short CAT6 cable to patch my router and switch together. It is delivering a gigabit connection and seems to be of good quality. I also like the color options as it makes it easier to follow connections.

[6.4 lb] This router can handle gigabit speeds offered by xfinity. If you do not use WIFI or use other access points, this router will do the job. Easy to configure GUI. Port forwarding and DHCP easy to set up. Adding firewall rules require technical skills but I have found online help available. Can be used for home or small business.

[Internal] Purchased this router after upgrading internet service to gigabit internet and replacing an old but reliable Netgear R7000 that did not have the more advanced WiFi 6E capability. I am now getting much faster WiFi speeds and more devices communicating simultaneously with this router's advanced capabilities. I highly recommend that you thoroughly review all of the features of this router to configure for get optimal performance on your network.
