Data Tape Drive

[ 3.5" HDD ] The Xcellon USB 3.2 Gen 1 Hard Drive Dock is the perfect replacement for another dock I had from another brand that never got to properly power larger capacity drives as they will disconnect. Not a good thing when writing data!! This one keeps up, providing enough power and speed consistency. First, I tested transferring several files, one experiment was transferring video only, the other was transferring photos. No issues. Lastly, I cloned one drive to another as a backup, using a M.2 drive (C) (windows) to a HDD docked in this Xcellon. I'd recommend getting two of these, especially useful for cloning internal HDD disks one to another, you know... the ones you keep in the drawer to occasionally access data from them. Easy drive swapping, lots of storage, safely outside your computers, kept new, not wearing and tearing its mechanisms. Keep in mind that, when using regular HDDs, instead of SSDs, it usually starts transferring very fast (see pictures I included) then it drops down like any HDD I've ever used, (internally, externally, docked, or inside a HDD case). This is normal. IMPORTANT!!!!! Always keep the doc's openings covered with either a piece of shipping tape, plastic or gaffer tape so the SATA terminals are as clean as when you first unboxed this product for problem free data transfers. Overall, pretty happy with this dock. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[24 TB] I have been using this drive for over 4 months to keep all my Video backup data without any issue.

[Bus Powered] Needed a 5TB backup drive for my data. Chose the Firecuda because of the attractive price. Drive works well, typical writ speed is 70 to 85 MB/s. So far so good.

[64 GB] The price is right - I purchased two. The drive holds a lot of data. I am happy with them so far

[0.385 lb] Easy to install a drive. Nice and fast for data transfers.

[6.1 µm] I use this to archvie 4K digital cinema data, using a tape library to back up a RAID. The tapes are expensive and the process is slow and cumbersome, but it is probably the most stable format for archiving digital data. If you are developing a new system, you'll probably want LTO-6, but if you're already on LTO-5, this product is just fine. Keep in mind that eventually you will need custom labels, so buy a bunch of them in advance.

[0.33 lb] Got it for a usb3 hard drive. Data transfer works good.

[16 TB] Excellent fast SSD drive that transfers data at high speed.

[USB-C Male] I have used this to connect a portable drive and a laptop for data transfer. It worked well in that capacity.
