[3.7 ms (Read)] Solidly built SSD adapter for my older Mac Pro tower.

[1.6 lb] I have this switch set up to allow me to switch between a Retina MacBook Pro and my tower gaming PC with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card, and it performs the job very well. Previously I had a similar setup using an IOGear DVI+USB KVM switch between MacBook Pro and my older tower PC, with just a DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter on the video cable to the Mac. For the new setup I bought a DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable for the Mac (could have used an adapter but the cable was $10 and it's less... lumpy... this way.) I've only been using it for a week or so, but it's working great! Comes with all cables, which seem to be solid quality, and fully bus-powered - small and light but seems well made. The older IOGear DVI+USB2 switch wasn't as expensive as this when it was new, but I guess that's the price I pay for going 4K. I did my usual research on all available DisplayPort + USB switch options before selecting this one, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice here. If you're trying to drive a 2K or 4K monitor from two DisplayPort-equipped machines and share a mouse and keyboard between them, this is the ticket.

[6.1 x 4 x 0.4"] I've only had this SSD installed in my Mac Pro Tower for a few days, but already I love it. I can shut down and restart in 32 seconds (timed it with a stopwatch!). The SSD was installed in the second optical bay, connected to the motherboard and power supply with a tangle of cables, which required a fair amount of disassembly of my Mac Pro (maybe 30 minutes of work). That's my only (minor) complaint and it's got nothing to do with the drive itself. I just installed the operating system and applications on this, and altogether they take up less than 20 GB of space, leaving plenty of room for OS X's virtual memory. Photoshop and other programs start up very quickly. I have all my data and images on SATA hard drives installed in the regular drive bays. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't upgrade those to SSDs as well.

[0.35 lb] Great piece of gear for my use as I'm coming from a Mac Pro tower & JBOD's to an iMac Thunderbolt. Works as advertised.

[0.6 lb] I used the DVI Extender to output a HD (1920x1080) signal from a Mac Pro Tower to a Panasonic projector for a live presentation to an audience. Seamless! The straight forward hookup and installation took about 2 minutes and I was outputing a extremely clean signal. No downside that I encountered, it worked exactly as advertised! Thanks Blackmagic!

[4x Low-Profile] The Tower was excellent and met my needs. The P/S is OK, but I replaced it to meet the power needs of my GPU. Please note; that the description picture shows duel USB2 and USB3 ports, the text indicates USB2 ports, and the tower I received only had USB3 ports that met my needs so no problem. The tower description does not indicate that there is mounting holes on the bottom for SSDs and that the lower part of the drive rack is removable for long graphic boards, both pluses for me. Shipping was fast for a special order and the packaging was good. I will buy another em013 tower when the need arises.
