[Black] Definitive Technology has done it again with DM70s! These towers are just as awesome as stated in the Audioholics review - https://www.audioholics.com/tower-speaker-reviews/def-tech-dymension-dm70-dm20/#toc-h2-3. I consider myself to be an advanced intermediate level Home Theater enthusiast and these speakers deliver on all levels, bass, mids, and highs. Prior to upgrading to the DM70s I owned the BP8020s, great speakers but comparing them to the DM70s is an apples and oranges comparison. The build quality has been greatly improved. The lack of LFE input isn’t missed and is an enhancement because this design approach opens the door to using 4 DM70s or more in a system with full-range audio at all channels! They definitely hit deep as u can see from my MultEQ-X measurements, without applying my room target curve these speakers play down in the 20Hz range. These speakers can easily be utilized without a dedicated sub but adding one definitely will take your system to the next level. I recommend 2 subs if you have the space to maintain balance. The highs are very articulate but not overly bright and the height of the mid/highs module is optimal for listening in a seated position. If you are searching for your next set of towers look no further, you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

[Cloth] The Definitive Technology Center Channel MD20 is outstanding! Crisp, clear dialogue and rich, immersive sound make it perfect for home theaters. Its sleek design fits seamlessly into any setup. Highly recommended for audiophiles and movie enthusiasts alike. Five stars!

[Sealed] I previously had the Definitive Technology W9, which had excellent sound but no ability to modify the EQ levels through the app. The Denon Home 350 delivers improved sound and user experience, with the ability to connect via wifi or bluetooth, and the easy to use and great looking HEOS app. I stream primarily through Spotify or Soundcloud and both are easy to access through the app. Highly recommend.

[UL and CE] Not a whole to say about this except it gets the job done exactly as its supposed to. I use with an MKH 8040 Mid mic, which is well known for transducing extremely low frequencies, such as that of hand-held vibrations and movement. The connbox makes it effortless however, it nearly completely de-couples the mic from the shockmount and offers some of the best floating isolation you'll find. The fact that it is measured to fit a Rycote shockmount perfectly is an added plus. My only gripe, being this is a conboxx for M/S, is that the Mide and Side XLRs were not quite exactly the same length. Given the short distance, it has no bearing on the recording, but I'm a little surprised the cable run isn't identical for a recording medium which relies upon phase conherence. Aside from that oddity, the connbox works effectively for what it sets out to handle.

[Faux Fur/Foam] Used this on my MKH 8040's for some vehicle recordings. Provided reasonable wind protection (comparable to other fur setups, of course high speeds introduced some wind rumble up to ~250Hz), fit snugly on the 8040 without fear of sliding off, and kept nearly all the high-freq material.

[Mono] I'm going to start by getting the biggest elephant in the room out of the way: it's a bi-directional mic, and thus it's day-to-day function is extremely limited for almost all recording purposes. It's only real use beside recording multiple angles at once (think backing vocalists in music) are in M/S and Blumlein arrays. Bearing this all in mind, the mic is functionally very good. It's well built and sturdy, the signal is robust and free of audible self noise, and it captures very transparently with very minimal off axis coloration to compliment the other MKH-series mics. Although I do find that around 1.2-1.3 kHz it benefits from a 1.5 dB attenuation (at least with traffic recording in an M/S configuration). And the best of all is that it's very monophonic. I use this microphone as part of an M/S configuration, complimenting an MKH 8040 Mid mic, and they both work together very nicely. I do find that, when levelled off at equal pre amp gain levels, the 30 runs about 8-9dB hotter than the 8040 with respect to an XY stereo image balance (it seems all MKH run a little hotter than the 8000 series). Not a problem, but somethign to consider when mastering M/S recordings. Overall I'm very pleased with this mic despite its considerably limited real-world usage options. For M/S it works fantastic.

[Passive] I have been a fan of Klipsch for years going back to my Forte's purchased in 1987. I drifted away and went to definitive technologies and Polk but when my last Polk sub blew I found a deal on the R-120sw and it rocks.....but the print on the amp is to small to read. And the led on the front that you can only see at night? Who thought of that? that's the dumbest thing I've ever seen and you can only see it at night. And I still use the forte's

[Inkjet Printers] I find I definitely get more pages from this ink cartridge. Wish there were a counter (other than me) so I could do a more definitive comparison. B&H pricing is always competitive and is my go-to for printers and accessories.
