Dell 1Ru Server

[1.77 lb] This is an excellent hard drive. Our company use those hard drive for the Dell server. The performance is great and will love it.

We bought this case to house our newly acquired TriCaster 8000. I originally wanted to get a 4RU case but B&H had a special on the 6RU version for $100 more. Score! So now I had 2 more rack spaces to populate. 1RU Power conditioner and 1RU drawer to house the hard drives and bam! Anyways, this is a review for the SKB case. I love the hinged front and back doors that come with velcro straps to keep the doors open during a gig. The wheels are easily removed for transporting the case or to set it up on a tabletop. My only wish (not a biggie) is that the case would come in a 20 deep rack. Because the case is 24 rack deep, it's a pretty large footprint and takes up quite a bit of space. Beyond that though, I would highly recommend this case.

[24x RJ45] You can't beat the price on this 1RU patchbay. It comes with pushdown type connectors and everything all set. It is solidly built and the front panel has labeling areas already on the finish of the faceplate. It is not shielded or protected in the back, but this should not be an issue due to the tiny areas of wire that end up being exposed. Also, the strain relief on the cabling makes it all wrap up into a neat and tidy finished product.

[Black] I have a 1RU guitar effects unit (TC Electronic G System) and a few effects pedals. The case has hadware and mounting rails that can handle upto 2U of 19 rackable equipement plus space for store cables. The G System, effects pedals and all cabling all fit nicely and securely into the case forming a neat package that can be transported easily. Tear and setup is a breeze because everything is precabled in the Gator case, Just need to pull out preconnected cable snake and run to the amp and run a single eth cable to the G System. Works great and the case is of high qaulity. It does have ridgid walls which provides a high level of protection for the equipment but I would not stack anything heavy on top.
