Dell Display Port Docking Station

[6.27 lb] I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch.� One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it.

As a tech enthusiast who often switches between multiple displays, this docking station really comes in handy. [0.24 lb] I have connected a Dell monitor to my iMac to use as a mirrored second working station: one standing, one sitting. My bluetooth keyboard and mouse communicate with my iMac from the mirrored work station just fine. The 15' mini display port to display port cable I am using to connect the devices barely reaches so I ordered a 6' mini display port extension cable from B&H. The extension cable works perfectly. I was pleased when B&H came up in my online search for an extension cable because B&H is a company I trust.

[3.65 lb] A 4K external monitor and a few devices hooked into this docking station, it connects to and charges my Dell xps 15 via a thunderbolt port seamlessly. Less cables and hassle. Time to time I switch to use with my work Surface laptop and everything works fine as it should while charging. Leave the adapters in the bag. So far so good.

[1 x USB-A Male] This works quite well as long as you don't use a Dell USB docking station. That docking station overwhelms the USB bus with video signal and makes any other hub time out. Can't even use the docking station just for video and this for the USB. Otherwise it works like a charm. Fast switching between machines.

[0.745 lb] I got a couple new DisplayPorts to connect my BenQ monitors with my Dell 6000S docking station. These are super solid! I like how they sort of clip into each socket so they never fall out on their own.
