[Yes, Kensington] With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi. 5 |

[140 ppi] Color accurate as Dell claims. I run it in a slightly scaled mode with my Macbook Pro 16. I use USB-C to my Satechi Thunderbolt dock connected to the computer and it works flawlessly. Note that if you use an HDMI adapter from a dock or the hdmi connection on a dock, or certain HDMI to USB-C adapters you may have the issue with it flashing black randomly very quickly maybe a couple times a day. It is like a disconnect type behavior. This is an Apple issue, not a Dell one. See the forums online. If running in full 4k unscaled, connect a quality HDMI cable directly to the Mac, or use a quality USB-C / Thunderbolt cable. You will be fine. At 4k native, I think the PPI is just a hair too small for comfort on text. I think the 5k 41 Dell monitor on native resolution has a slightly lower PPI so you could probably get away with that. I cam from a 43 Dell 4k monitor on native resolution so this is obviously a little more dense than that. Regardless, the style, quality, image quality, color, brightness, and the wonderful usb hub built into the monitor are great. No, unlike my 43, this does not have built in speakers, but Dell sells a clip on soundbar or you can just buy a slim computer speaker and sneak it under your desk somewhere since the sound quality is not the greatest anyways. For normal people I think 32 1440p is probably the best resolution to diagonal ratio, but 32 4k with a slight scale is great for getting just enough windows and not being too hard to read. 5 |

[4.18 lb] I needed a Dock to use with a Dell Latitude 3520. It had to do USB C and it had to do PD with at least 65W. This dock does all of this. I wall be adding a 4K monitor soon, but just one, so I can't comment on how well it does or doesn't do dual 4K screens. I like that it has plenty of USB ports two each USB A and USB C on the front and two USB A's on the back. I use the ones on the back for my transceivers for my keyboard and mouse. That leave all 4 on the front for flash drives and other devices. 5 |

[6.2 x 6.1 x 2"] I have tried many docks over the months from Dell, Lenovo, Kensington, Belkin and even CalDigit. Hyper Dock offers the biggest number of legacy USB-A ports as well as it's the only sick that can drive my 4K display at its peak refresh rate of 165hz! All other docks topped out at measly 60hz. Staff at B&H is always helpful and selection of products as well as constant deals make this reseller out of this world! Highly recommended! 5 |

[Aluminum] The box arrived damaged, called customer service, they offered to replace, and agreed to my request to hold until it could be tested. The computer crashed while the dock was in shipment and they allowed me to get the computer back up and then test to see if damaged in shipment. They took care of this customer. It seems like the instructions to setup could be more detailed. Hyper Tech support helped to finish the installation. The dock works great. It is attached to a Dell 7530 or swapped out with a Dell 7750. Easily drives two BenQ PD3200U 32-inch 4K UHD sRGB Designer Monitors with no problem. The shortage of usb-a ports was overcome by plugging in a B&H Photo 16 port Sabrent hub. Currently using 11 of 16 ports and works great. I have used the dock for over a month and half and highly recommend the dock and B&H Photo. 5 |

[3.51 lb] B&H provided prompt delivery of my new Dell dock. The dock works great - less fan noise than my previous dock - and adequate power for my laptop, monitor and a few other devices. 5 |

[Aluminum] The fact that this is the second WD19TB I buy shows that I really like this dock. (As I am working in 2 places, I wanted to have it in both!). Pros and cons: + One (tiny) USB-C plug, everything taken care of: USB devices, network, multiple monitors and even charging the device. + Very nice integration into Dell notebooks: No need to open the device. Simply push the button - or even use the plug event to power on the notebook. Can't be more convenient than that? + No Fan (like the old WD16TB dock had) + Works with all TB-able notebooks I used so far (MacBook, Asus, Dell, ..) - To get the full power output from the dock, you have to use a Dell notebook (E.g. gamer notebooks from other manufacturers might not be able to charge and be used in full power mode, even though the power brick should have plenty of power to do it - note that this is due to the USB-C spec, there was recently an addendum which might change that going forwards). - It is on the pricy side - If driving a high res monitor (2560x1440 and above) using an HDMI cable, you might get only 50Hz out of it and using many notebooks you will get a flickering (display on/off) over time. You should really use a DP cable. - It has only one USB plug at the front - which is a bit on the low side considering that you might plug in mouse and keyboard. Yes, there are more plugs on the back side, but it is finnicky to get to them once set up. - Be aware that the notebook has to be fairly close to the dock as the cable is not easy to be bend, and the outlet location is fixed (on both sides). 5 |
