[105 W] Was disappointed to see that the board did not have a Toslink or digital audio out. Otherwise it is great

[0.1 lb] The Op-1 has managed to recreate a process that is immediately familiar to veteran musicians; the multitrack tape recorder. Lots of small, digital stand-alone multitrack recorders exist but, although the knobs and transport buttons remain in the traditional configuration, these devices could not seem to harness the same tactile and aesthetic feel of the real thing. The OP-1 has achieved this. The elegance of the design, both in the tactile elements AND the OLED readout have yanked the analog tradition from the jaws of the digital world. Once you learn the interface, you'll be aching to get a few minutes with the device, even if you don't have something in mind, musically. You'll just want to use it. Can't say that for most software-based recording solutions. Anyway, it's built like a tank, and has everything you need to create music, right on board; multiple synth engines, drum machines, a robust sample engine (allowing external audio, on-board mic, on-board FM radio and re-sampling), 4-track recorder, 2 mix down platters, FX and LFO, and multiple sequencers. But the simple fact is, you'll WANT to use it. This is the greatest endorsement I can think of. Well worth the price point.

[12 VDC] My last digital mixer was a Yamaha 01V96. The LiveTrak L-20 does the same job in a smaller package and 1/4th the weight (not counting the Anvil case). In lieu of motorized faders, the L-20 displays the programmed position using the channel meters. That conveys the same essential information without all the complexity. COVID restrictions led me to do live-streaming, which is closer to TV broadcasting than to audio/video recording. Associated tasks include FOH sound reinforcement. The visual and tactile advantages of a mixing board were a decisive factor in my choice, coupled with the need to lay out up to 16 microphones before going heavy. The L-20 will also save 10 scenes, including eq and fader settings, perfect for mixed venues. There are also 6 programmable output mixes plus main mix, for customized monitoring. For the practical sorts like myself, there is a main headphone jack, plus one for each monitor port. To top it off, the board will record 22 tracks (20 pre-fader) to an SD card, up to 96/24 resolution, and connect the same to a DAW via USB-2.

[Ribbon] I bought this microphone expecting to return it. What a surprise I got when I mounted and plugged into our digital board and it reproduced my voice in a warm, clean way. We bought two more and use 3 of them for podcasting. Our EQ'ing is minimal and the sound makes all the difference in the world. The shock mount is quality and the case is a nice bonus. I have not tried with an instrument nor used for musical applications. Enjoy!

[18 Tracks] This board was very easy to get used to and has made transitioning from analogue to digital very smooth. I wish the power button was more accessible but otherwise it has been great. I would recommend this board.

[30.2 x 6 x 5.4"] The digital photo frame was perfect for our need. We will be using it to exhibit on our missions board all the missionaries that the church supports on a monthly basis. Its a great visual device. Thank you.

[Empty] We are a high school that uses this Pelican case to transport our audio board, switcher and digital recorder around to sporting events and other school activities. This case has proven to be very useful.
