[120 W] I needed to place a camera around 1000 feet from the NVR. Lorex said that their ePoE technology could do that. I bought the system with 16 nocturnal vari focus 4K ePoE cameras. Lorex sent a N884 NVR instead of the N883 that has 8 ePoE ports. To fix this I was sent a 8 port ePoE switch. With 1000 feet of Cat6 cable, with T568A wired ends... it works perfectly. I'm very happy with my choice. I had a Q-See IP PoE system so I was able to use existing Cat6 wiring for the new cameras. I do notice that night time images are clearer and I can identify wild life at approximently 80 feet away with no supplimental lighting. Still learning to use the lorex cloud app. Still need to tweek some settings and adjust camera posistioning to use the vari-focus lens. Oh... vari focus lens can be adjusted on the 1000 foot cable, fyi. Thank you Lorex for EpoE.. 5 |

[V30] I bought this camera for the extra reach compared to my FZ1000 and still have the low light ability of the 1000. Temperamental I found compared with the older tool, but it has provided me with some very nice photographs of birds as I learn more every day. 5 |
