Digital Camera Sensor Cleaning Kit

I normally use the eclipse cleaning fluid but when I'm flying I take with the aeroclips and it's just as effective. I had a lot of trepidation about ordering and using this kit, I had a camera which needed a sensor cleaning, and no resources anywhere near me to do it. Meaning it was all coming down to me. My concern was the potential for damage to the sensor, then rendering this old camera to being a paperweight. But this kit is so well engineered that concern was quickly alleviated. I just followed the directions on the included card. Did not even have to look at the referenced video. Weather has precluded me from getting out with a tele lens to see if I got the spot off the sensor, the only way to see it. But what I did do immediately after is test the camera with the kit lens to make sure I had not damaged the sensor. I had not. Great relief. The cleaning turned out to be a non-event. If future testing shows the spec is still there, I will follow the directions on the steps to repeat, and do so with complete confidence. Having now been through this and having learned from it, I would not attempt such a task without this kit. If one is going to clean a sensor, I think this kit is an absolute necessity.

[0.07 lb] Cleaning a camera sensor can be a bit nerve racking. This cleaning solution is expensive, but with the correct wands, my sensors always come out perfectly clean!

[White] Following some research I decided to purchase Sensor Swab ULTRA Type 2. I used these Sensor Swabs as instructed and to clean an APS-C camera sensor area which showed considerable deposits of what looked like built-up grime. These deposits on the sensor could not be removed by light brushing or vacuuming. Applying three drops of cleaning liquid to one side of a Swab, I gently dragged the Swab across the surface of the camera sensor from one side to the other. This was easy to do and all foreign material was instantly removed from the sensor. Then reversing the Swab, a return sweep across the sensor in the opposite direction, further restored the surface quality. I am extremely happy with the results of this simple process. Thorough testing of the camera post-cleaning, revealed all offending spots and marks, which previously contributed to flawed photos, were no longer present. Thank you for this product which I have found in all ways, performs even beyond my own high expectations!
