The 15' mini display port to display port cable I am using to connect the devices barely reaches so I ordered a 6' mini display port extension cable from B&H. The extension cable works perfectly. I was pleased when B&H came up in my online search for an extension cable because B&H is a company I trust.

This monitor is as advertised. It performs very well out of the box. I have it hooked up to a late 2013 MacBook Pro. If you're using a same vintage MBP, my suggestion is to use the Display Port to Mini-Display Port cable as opposed to the HDMI cable. I initially was using the HDMI cable and was regretting not spending the money and getting the 4K monitor since the resolution seemed off, but after I switched to the Display Port hookup the resolution dialed in quite nicely. For an Eizo, this monitor is a great price point for the quality you receive. I would purchase this again.
