[1x USB-C Male] I was using this with an older DisplayPort cable, which was not DP 1.2 compatible. Lots of noise and flickering on screen. After upgrading my DP cable, everything worked great with this adapter. Have it running a screen at 4K @ 60Hz, from a Mac Book Pro.

It is very useful to extend a Windows 10 laptop with a USB-C video output to two external 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors along with other wired USB Type-A accessories like a keyboard and mouse. To have two external monitors, you must have Windows (not a Mac) and you must use the Mini DisplayPort output for one of the monitors with a cable that connects directly to a Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input on a monitor. Also, make sure that you connect it to a USB-C port on your laptop that supports video output. I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. [0.39 lb] The Pearstone USB C to DisplayPort 4k Cable (15') is a super long well made cable. I primarily use this cable to run a preview monitor from my MacBook pro to a client or other crew member. It keeps extra people out of the main area where I am working and it does a great job of this since it's so long. There isn't a ton to say about a cable but this is built well, supports 4k, and is super long so I'm happy. (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

[10 to 80% ()] It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

[Copper] Need this because my video card, even though having dual DVI , HDMI, and DisplayPort... can't operate three monitors in a DVI + DVI + HDMI configuration. But, DVI + DVI + DisplayPort works. This adapter solved that problem when connecting an external HDMI LCD TV as a third monitoring source for video editing and playback.

[0.1 lb] It is what it is. It's a Thunderbolt Cable, which is a hardware interface that combines PCI Express and DisplayPort into one signal.

[7.9 lb (3.6 kg)] We use this to convert a presentation podium DisplayPort output to SDI. The SDI signal is routed to a video switcher. Love the high resolution, really an improvement to have all SDI, rather than good old composite video. Had to download the AJA mini-config software to set up the way we wanted, but that went well.

[30 AWG] Solves the problem of not being able to get 3 video outputs when using 2 normal DisplayPort cables on a Dell docking station.

[Copper] The Dell 7090 i7-11700 has a DisplayPort for video output and I got the above mentioned adapter only at BHPHOTOVIDEO.COM. R.E.S. Pieternella, CURAAO.
