[12" / 30 cm] The only USB to Serial adapter working flawlessly with my Takahashi 200EM mount. I tried several until I got to this one and since then I have no problems at all controlling my mount. Highly recommended for astronomers, reliable adapter which will not let you down.

[Nikon F] I used this to adapt a 1952-1955 serial Carl Zeiss Jena 58/2 Biotar to my Xpro-2. That lens has no aperture stop-down pins or levers so it was a perfect fit for this adapter. The only thing I needed to do was to loosen 3 screws with a metric Allen key (hexagonal) to rotate the thread for the lens center to be aligned because it was a little off to the side. Took all of 30 seconds. This adapter is well made, has a quality fit and finish. It fits on smoothly and snug on my camera, there is no wobble whatsoever. It will add roughly 1.5" to your lens' overall length. I would buy this again with no hesitation. I hope this helps anyone who is considering buying it. Oh and BH are lightning quick at preparing and shipping out orders, it's really amazing. I hope someone finds this review useful.

[1x LED Lantern] Decent CRI, bright, and inexpensive. Used 4 of them in a DIY adapter for a 28x39 softbox.

[1.745 lb] This thing is big, really BIG. I'm using two of them in a DIY adapter for a 28x39 softbox and they are plenty bright. Very even lighting (no need for the inner diffuser) They are mounted almost parallel to the front of the box on the long axis. They get warm but I have been leaving the access zipper open, and facing up, and haven't had an overheating problem. Good CRI and reasonable priced. Only have 30 hours on them so far.

[14.5 oz / 410 g] I used this per photography forum recommendations to use as part of a DIY project to mount the Speedotron Beauty Dish to my Genesis strobe lights. This adapter is made of higher quality metal that doesn't bend when pressure is applied, thus drilling the 4 mounting holes was a breeze. I also bought this adapter to use to secure the diffuser sock on my Photek Softlighter II to my strobes, since the stock Genesis reflector is too big, and the Elinchrom Wide Angle Reflector costs $50. Great alternative!

I actually ordered a second one of these after seeing how securely they hold my flash. I have no worries about my flash slipping out. I keep one permanently attached to a DIY adapter for my macro flash. Love it!
