Diy Drawer Divider Organizer

[Latch] I didn't use the divider kit in a Pelican case, but rather as an organizer for my camera gear in an existing drawer. The flexibility of the kit really allowed me to get everything exactly as I wanted.

[Precut Foam] The case is excellent as is the Think Tank divider set/organizer. I own two now.

[Plywood] I like that each cell is padded and separated by a firm metal divider. I keep Shure SLX2 wireless mics in the larger cells and a SM58 and various clips in the smaller one. There is a slight gap at the top of the drawer in the rear, maybe the thickness of a few sheets of paper, so if you were using this in a mobile rig and keep very small items like washers in the drawer they could fall out. Otherwise this is perfect for transporting microphones. The drawer I received came with a lock and key which weren't shown on the picture or listed in the description. The lock is very secure and can't be picked easily like some other drawers.

[Yes] Ordered this case to go along with the same case with the divider and lid organizer for an astrophotography trip to South Texas. Between the two cases, my gear arrived safe and sound (both there and back). The pick-and-pluck foam is easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I shaped it to fit the exact shape of my equipment - mount, computer, filter wheel, and guide scope. I used the case with the divider for my telescope, astro camera, and cables. I could carry these cases on board my United flight and store them overhead fairly easily. The packed cases are a little heavy, but not too much for my almost age-70 body. My wife complained about wheeling the case through the airport as they are just a little narrow and are prone to tilt over occasionally. My only wish would be that these cases had 360 wheels instead of the older type pull behind wheels.

[5.5 lb] This divider set is a awesome product, less the minor oops of not having a zipper top for the set and a lid organizer as a part of the set. Still makes a fabulous set. I am using this for my photography equipment and couldn't be more excited about it. Thanks so much!!
