Diy Outdoor Projector Mount

[12 x 7 x 1"] I made a DIY PVC pipe frame to go with this and it really works great for outdoor portrait sessions.

[30.9 x 8.3 x 8"] This review is of the Phottix Raja Hexa Softbox (59). It provides a very pleasing soft light. Removing the outer diffusion easily allows for a nice increase in contrast. The build quality is good. It opens and locks into place very easily. It weighs 6 lbs. 6 oz. with both diffusers in place, requiring a substantial strobe mount to hold it in place. If your strobe will support the weight, I highly recommend this softbox. To remove all of the softbox weight from the strobe head the pictures show a DIY mount. Two 6” corner braces, one straight brace, four knobs with ¼” x 20 threads, two screws and nuts and one Manfrotto 014-38 Rapid Adapter. All of the hardware was in stock at my local Lowes. Attach this DIY support to a 2.5” grip head and it is fully adjustable.

[Black] I use this mount to rig my Ronin to car mounts, jibs, and DIY mounts for helicopters. Strong build and milled will precision. Seems a little pricy for a chunk of metal, but its easily paid itself off in just one use. I Highly recommend all Ronin owners to add this to your gear list.

[14.5 oz / 410 g] I used this per photography forum recommendations to use as part of a DIY project to mount the Speedotron Beauty Dish to my Genesis strobe lights. This adapter is made of higher quality metal that doesn't bend when pressure is applied, thus drilling the 4 mounting holes was a breeze. I also bought this adapter to use to secure the diffuser sock on my Photek Softlighter II to my strobes, since the stock Genesis reflector is too big, and the Elinchrom Wide Angle Reflector costs $50. Great alternative!

It gives me the right balance of contrast and diffusion and when you mount the crossbar to a grip head for wide tubes and mount it to a rolling stand, you get a reflector panel that is easy to move and adjust on the fly to find the perfect light. Design and setup are simple and I like the way the crossbars attach to the side poles. Much better than the way some other brands are doing it.

[Aluminum, Steel] After trying DIY way with the VESA mount which never works well, finally using this easy to install mount adapter makes it work. The build quality also very good.

[0.365 lb] We needed to place an outdoor projector on a stand that was sturdy and flexible in projector placement. This certainly did the job. We simply attached the correct size platform for our projector. It is portable, light, but sturdy and can take a much heavier loads than we are using it for.

[0.52:1] I purchased this projector to have outdoor backyard movie nights. The picture is crisp and clear and the lamp is bright. Great for outdoor movies! Very pleased with this product and highly recommend.
