[RF Remote] While they're not the quality of my favorite LED panel that comes in the bright yellow flight case, for the money, these are great. I needed DMX functionality on a budget, and these serve it up. The stands are better than many budget stands, and the case does the job. One note on the DMX functions. You can control brightness, color temp, and hue but this is not documented. Once you set the DMX channel for the fixture as outlined in the docs (call it channel x), that channel controls brightness. DMX channel x+1 controls color temp, and DMX channel x+2 controls hue. Changing the hue value puts the light into RGB mode. Changing the color temp value puts the light into white mode. B&H connected me with the manufacturer to figure out the DMX stuff, and they were prompt with their reply.

[Yes] This is a complete kit. Multiple Battery options, DMX Controls, variable power and color (blending 3200K - 5500K led's) - This is the premium version of the Dracast light. No plastic, solid construction, high CRI value LED's. The PROs - PLENTY of light. this 3 light kit replaces an older ARRI kit. in fact - low (Soft) light applications will require a modifier in close settings. All components are Grade A. Only problem is dimming at the lowest end of the scale (1-3 of 100 range) - where lights can turn off. LOW heat, great to bounce off ceilings / cards for general / fill lighting. Cases are really nice. CONS: More expensive, I didn't review the options and as a result overpaid for a DMX feature I don't need / can't use. ( should have picked the version without DMX for my application) Would have been ideal if it integrated a wireless control (when they are high on booms it's hard to adjust).

[60 W (Max)] OK, as most know, this is not a true blacklight.  LED lighting is UV lighting but works like a blacklight.  I have tried several UV lights and always a bit disappointed, including the competing DJ Lighting brand one. The first thing I noticed is the build of the light which is metal, heavy (In a good way) and solid.  When you turn it on, the light is similar to a flood light, which it is supposed to be.  others Ive tried claim flood, but center is brighter than the rest of the light.  This ADJ UV Flood is a wide beam and has some reach to it.   I actually bought one of these about 2 months ago from another online retailer.  Then a bought a second one since the price the price dropped.  I saw the sale (price drop) here at B & H and could not resist.  Yes, i have a total of 4 of these and couldnt be happier. Only con i have found is that it does not seem to respond well to DMX like it should.  It is not a deal breaker with me as using DMX for me on a UV light is more for on/off.  For strobing or or any other effect, it does not change alot, like a color light would, so kind of a mute thing for me, though itd be nice if it would work properly.   For a UV light, youd be hard pressed to find a better one for @ $200 or less that has the quality and reliability i have found with ADJ lighting though the years.  In fact I still have several older bulb, duty cycle ADJ (American DJ back then) and all of them work flawlessly.

[CRI 97] As a professional videographer I need the perfect lighting for my work which includes indie films and documentaries. I was looking for something portable and lightweight that didn't get hot yet gave a lot of light output. What I love is this light is an LED fresnel. It takes the same advantages of a traditional fresnel light (beam intensity, longer distance) yet has the energy-saving and efficiency pros of an LED light. I'm a fan of the color accuracy-- the purity of the light is great and has no weird color tints. The color temperature remains consistent, no matter how long I use it (30 min-2 hrs), the temp is always accurate and does not dip. How great is that? Another great feature is that this also has built-in DMX controls, so you can control it with an external DMX panel. If you're looking for well priced lighting that's light weight, has great color accuracy and is priced well-this is a great choice!
