[Snap Fastener] Great little camera for out and about stuff. I have a Sony A77ii already, but wanted something better than a smart phone camera for the dog park (where I am not taking the 77). Love the sensor and the near field communications so I can still upload as quickly as if I did use the camera on the phone.

[4.45 lb] I own a Nikon D750 that is a great camera, but I wanted to have a second camera that would suit my needs. I'm an slightly overly enthusiastic amateur photographer. When the pandemic isn't around I do a lot of dog show photography, landscapes and family-oriented shooting. I thought long and hard about whether I should get the D850 or maybe the Nikon D500 or a Nikon Z7? (I have a plethora of Sigma Nikon F-mount lenses, so I really wasn't tempted by another brand.) There was no clear answer for me. The D500 is a DX format, but it is a great sport camera with a great buffer and quick focusing, so it would be nice for shooting movement in dogs in the ring. The Z7 is probably a step towards the future, but the buffer is no better than the D850, is less robust, and I saw too many YouTube videos that question its focus-tracking. I spoke to a few pro-photography friends that often shoot at dog shows and they steered my towards the D850. One of the friends who travels around the world as a pro photographer has a D500, the D850 and a D5. He said the other two are great cameras, but he finds that he leaves them behind when shooting a dog show. Another friend is a well-regarded graphic artist who loves mirrorless cameras for his own purposes. But, he felt that the D850 was the better choice for me given what's important to me. Luckily, when I called B&H Photo to purchase a new D850, they had recently taken in a very lightly used D850 and I jumped on it immediately, trading in my backup D750 to them for a small portion of the cost. I've only had it for a few shoots, and I'm just beginning to read Darrell Young's Mastering the Nikon D850, but for me, this camera is special, quite similar to the Nikon D750 out of the box, and I think it was the best choice for me.

[0.75 lb] Having a blast taking video when the dog launches off the dock after a ball. Camera stays in place and the pictures are awesome!

[1.185 lb] This is my everyday dog walk/hike bag. Perfect for a camera, binocs, rain-shell, beanie, gloves, plus dog bags and treats. It is part of my body when I'm hiking/walking my golden.

[Nikon F] I'm an amateur photographer and most of my camera work is done at dog shows. I had been very frustrated with shooting movement shots, especially in low-light conditions that are common for indoor dog shows. Using a flash is not an option. A professional photographer friend who frequents dog shows had previously recommended I buy a Nikon D7100, which has been a good purchase. I asked him about the low-light issue and he recommended the Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 Arts Lens. After several months of using the lens and taking thousands of frames, I couldn't be happier. Yes, it's heavy, but that's the price you pay for a lot of glass in the lens. So, being no longer a youngster, I have to be careful to brace myself or use a tripod or monopod. But, the movement shots I've been able to take have me very excited and I've received a lot of complements from fellow dog show people. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it as I crank up the ISO. I don't believe this lens is designed to be used on full frame cameras, but I strongly recommend it for those of you with a DX format camera.

[0.75 lb] It’s a great product. Very comfortable for the dog to wear and it’s such a great spot for the camera. The videos are great. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a spot to attach a dog lead so you could have a lead on when needed.

[0.4 lb] It is expensive, but it has more use than just put it in a child. I also use it with my dog and I have some great videos with it
