[Black] I used this to converted coaxial from a video player to pcm 5.1 Dolby aes to a Dolby digital decoder. Worked perfectly. I used two part Velcro to secure it to the 19" rack shelf.

[1.795 lb] These are great as rear speakers in a Dolby Atmos system and, to my ears, provide more impressive upward sound than the Arc. They also sound great listening to spatial audio music. The only downside is that they are nearly $1000 for the pair after tax.

[0.985 lb] I have not directly used this product before, but my employees have. They use it to hang the dolby speakers from the ceiling in movie theater across the country. They work really well because we are always ordering them. The price is good too.

[Painted steel] I installed 4 of these in the ceiling to upgrade to Dolby Atmos, and they sound great and the built quality is excellent. They were very easy to install cutout a hole and with a philip screwdriver they were set. I was very impressed of the height of the speakers they do not protrude to high, I had a concern with the plywood installed in the attic with these speaker solve the problem. The only minor complaint was the grill they all come in white so if you want them black you have to paint them with spray paint. These are not my first Def Tech they are #11 my whole surround sound is built on Def Tech speakers highly recommend them.

[16°] Because any quality speaker can be used for Dolby Atmos sound I decided to reallocate a pair of Pioneer quality bookshelf speakers to operate as Dolby Atmos speakers each sitting atop a High Quality tower speaker in order to fire upward into the vaulted ceiling. It was clear the support firing angle of the Kanto S4 desktop stand met the requirement . These are study metal stands and excel at providing the support angle required to allow a speaker to assume an Atmos ceiling firing angle. If Kanto's reads this review they should suggest this function as a use as well

[MDF] I bought these Sony Dolby Atoms speakers a few months ago and I more than happy, they look and sound great. The build quality is great the speaker box been wrapped with a flat black vinyl wrapped and looks amazing, on the back the speaker wire input are wire clips sorry no banana inputs, also I was very surprised how heavy these speakers are, trust me they have some weight to them. I believe the maximum watts are 100 and the Ohm's are 6. Just match these babies with the Sony tower speakers and you are good to go..

[46 x 26 x 15"] I bought two pairs of these, one for the main L & R, and one for the rear surround L & R. Obviously, this setup also provided me with font and rear L & R Dolby Atmos. These speakers sounded so good that my wife commented on how realistic everything (especially musical instruments) sounded. I'm a professional soundman, so it wasn't like she was hearing good equipment for the first time. Here's the rub. We have thirteen foot high ceilings, so the "bounce" from the Dolby Atmos up-firing speakers was pretty weak. If you have normal height ceilings, this shouldn't be a problem.
