Doorbell Camera With Motion Hard Wired

[5 MP] I decided to upgrade from an old doorbell camera I had and WOW, what a difference. The packaging was beautiful and sleek, the install was detailed and easy to follow and the product itself is next level. The camera quality is way better than I expected. I love that this doorbell detects motion and people separately so that I am not getting 1 thousand notifications on motion when it is just an animal or car passing by. I would HIGHLY recommend this smart doorbell to anyone who is in the market. The app is also super easy to use. This product has far exceeded all expectations I had. 10/10

[Yes] This 4K wired doorbell camera is Great! Love all the features and works perfect right out of the box. It comes with a choice of base plates to angle the camera for the best angle of viewing. I do wish however, that they would allow for compound angles. (Up and over, or down and over). The base plates only allow one option at a time. Either angle up or down, or angle left or right. Other than that, it’s a great camera.

[6 Months] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both cameras are very clear and the span seen and recorded is pretty wide. I can see my whole front porch with no problem. The set up was pretty easy and simple. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The box comes with everything you would need to install and mount (except the doorbell wiring but yeh doorbell is also battery powered so it’s not a problem). I like the app, it’s easy to use. The doorbell is loud which is great. It connects to the WiFi well. The sound is great. The lights turn on at night when it senses motion. The motion detector is good, but the package detector is a bit off. It labels my outdoor shoes outside my door as packages haha. Overall review, very happy with the product! Very useful!

[Mole Richardson] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of all Ring products!! When I heard about the new battery powered ring video doorbell 3 I knew it had to be mine. Having little to no experience with wiring I was able to install this doorbell all by myself! The battery feature is amazing! I love that you can also wire it into an existing wired doorbell if you have and existing wired doorbell. In the future I might have it wired, but in the mean time the battery is working just fine. I keep a battery charged at all times if I need to replace the battery. The video is great and I love the alerts I get when I am away from home. Ring is by far the best camera I have ever bought!!

[3-pin female] This provides me the hard-wired connection I need for camera trigger, without having to stand right next to the camera. The only issue is - and it's true for any long cable like this, not just this one - is that you have to be careful not to pull on it, because this will juggle the camera on the tripod. I recommend securing it to the bottom of the tripod leg, so any pulling occurs there, not at the camera. Unfortunately, this shortens the effective reach of the cable by about 5 ft.. You may want to get two cables and daisy chain them, so you get enough reach to be useful.
