Drum Kit Stands

[USB-C Male] I’ve become a big fan of the Tama stands since picking up a few of their shorties for drum use. The biggest pro for me is that the final (smallest) boom adjustment is very solid and the knobs feel secure. This is a failure point I’ve encountered with the “industry standard” brand. Tama has made a convert out of me

[Brown] These stands are just right for several pro applications. Strong enough for our D112's or Beta 52's on kick drum or the ever popular uber-versatile SM57 for guitars etc. It's small footprint let's me sneak it into tight drum kits where larger base stands fear to tread. Saving trailer space is another plus as I can transport 4 of these babies in the same area as one of our round boom stands. Can't think of any downsides as this was a second purchase of these particular stands. Try em - you won't be disappointed!

[Fixed] I needed a heavy stand to hold my Roland sample drum pad. Most stands are made for drummers sitting down. This Atlas is heavy to carry around but it would take a whole lot to knock it over. So, for me it is exactly the right answer. And they are smooth working, beautiful sands. Can't really beat Atlas when it comes to mic stands. But be ready to carry a heavy stand.

[16.85 lb] I know that these stands are considered to be drum miking stands, but I use them in my studio as desktop mic stands and they work like a dream. I use heavy broadcast mics with shock mounts, and the usual run-of-the-mill desktop stands are way too wimpy to hold the weight without tipping over. That is NOT the case with this Atlas stand. It will hold my RE-20 in a shock mount, but it will ALSO support the significant added weight of a large reflexion filter that I use sometimes. I'm really impressed with the quality of Atlas products, and now I wouldn't use any other brand. I have 2 of these stands, and just ordered another Atlas floor stand from B & H. So, in short, I'm sure this would make a terrific drum miking stand, but if you use heavy broadcast or condenser mics, you will certainly be pleased with this stand. Do remember that the base takes up some room, but I'd much rather utilize the space than have a $500 mic be damaged from tipping over. Great product, and great service from B & H as always!

[Aluminum] I purchased the wrench to loosen wing nuts on drum major stands for my daughters high school marching band. It work as is should small enough to carry around with out and issues.
