[Handheld] I have a 6 piece kit that I am using this microphone set for. I have never used any other drum mics, so I cannot compare it to others. However, I am very satisfied by the quality these mics provide. I am a former professional, but now retired and playing and recording drums as a hobby. For this purpose, these mics are fine.

[Yes] Crazy easy setup. I hung mine upside-UP from a drum rack. Super easy to get it running. Battery was doing fine after 3.5 hours of continuous operation. I didn't mean to run it on battery. I had just forgotten to plug it in. I need it for continuous operation at.maximinum mounted sliding length. Not, sure if its even made for daily endurance type work. I'll try to remember to update in a year.

[33 dB] I recently build a Kick-Sub Microphone. In essence, you grab a loose speaker 6-12 and connect an XLR end to it and use it as a microphone for the Kick drum. The issue with doing this is that the signal comes out really strong. This unit is perfect for that as you can dial in your attenuation. It attenuates from 5db, 10db, 20db, 30db, 40db, all the way down to 50db. So, depending on how far I place that mic to the Kick drum, I can adjust the microphone to make sure it doesn't clip. The only thing I will say negative about it is that it is made of plastic. The construction quality doesn't seem great and for the price you would want a metal unit with much tighter tolerances. But I'm not planning to swing it around from the cable and smash things with it, so unless, I'm stepping on it constantly, I'm assuming it should last a long time.

[Unidirectional] i use this Pyle PDMIC78 microphone for home recording on guitar amps, snare drum and vocals. very sturdy construction and very easy to get a great sound from it. the only thing i didn't like was the XLR to 1/4cable that comes with it. sounds much better with a XLR-XLR low impedance cable. i can't believe the low price! it is impossible to go wrong with this purchase and B&H shipped it to me lightning fast Thanks!

[5/8"-27 Male] I purchased this low height drum stand with boom to use for my particular Desk Top Microphone setup. I can extend the boom fully and it will still support a Rode NT-1 mic with the large, lyre-type Rycote shock basket, if the boom is extended over one of the tripod legs.

[Steel] I am using this stand for the kick drum and smaller amps. The heavy base keeps the positioning of the microphone very stable.

[Low Cut/HPF] This microphone is amazing truly amazing and can be used for pretty much anything vocals , acoustic guitar , electric guitar , drum overheads etc. It is a total workhorse! and the quality is truly phenomenal especially given the price! The bass roll off and attenuation pad allow for custom and diverse sound applications its so nice to have choice and diversity in just one microphone, and of course again the quality that comes out of this thing even compared with professional studio work this things competes head to toe couldn't tell any difference, 100% worth it ! get this mic!

[Mono] If you're going to sell a product such as the dynamic kick drum microphone you should definitely include links after the purchase. For the different attachments/accessories. Because I wasn't aware at first how the mircophone would be attached to the drum.. I didn't find out until I got it that the attachments cost extra! So like maybe more explanations! I wouldn't have minded paying more, i would've gotten the attachment (either the clip or the mic stand) at the same time I bought the mircophone, if I knew I needed it!
