Dsl Modem And Wireless Router Combo

[24 dBm] This modem/router for DSL works great. Set-up was really easy and I had never set up a router before. It does have a reset that isn't a button; you have to use a paper clip to push it in, but it does work. All in all, no problems and seems to be working fine.

[3.405 lb] My previous modem router combo was not performing very well. I went to the retail store and had a combo in mind to purchase. They were out of that item and I spotted this one and decided to get it based on the information on the box. I am quite impressed with the performance of this particular piece of equipment over my previous equipment. I no longer need a repeater since the signal on this one is so much stronger.

[Yes] I was having terrible issues with my previous cable modem/router combo and switched to the CM1000v2. I also incorporated a mesh system and am totally pleased with the performance!

[802.11ax] I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

[4] The router is easy to set up and link to internet modem. Wireless logon from computers, laptops, phones and even tvs is quick and painless.
