[JPEG, Raw] Going from using a crop sensor DSLR to a full frame has been a world of difference in low light situations. It didn't take but a couple of shots to notice the difference and look forward to shooting in environments that I dreaded. 5 |

[1.345 lb] As with the safety pin, this excellent adapter is simple but perfect! I so far have made three top-of-my-ability prints on a bottom of the line Swiss-Arca 4x5, using a Canon sensor (approx. 22 x 15 mm). Since the index markings on the face of the adapter presumably are for full frame sensors, I covered them with tape marked in cm and mm. My work flow:Set up the 4x5 as usual for filmRaise the back by less than 22 mmMount the DSLR with the image's long axis verticalExpose a frame, shift the DSLR less than 15 mm, repeat until row is doneLoosen the back and let is slide downExpose along this new rowUse Photoshop to stitch the imagesIssues:I had to remove the focusing glass on my 4x5. The lens-to-sensor distance is longer than it was for film. Consequently, depending on focal length, you may not be able to focus to infinity. Using the thin lens approximation and some reasonable (I hope) assumptions, I computed BALL PARK maximum focusable distances: offset refers to the distance from the (missing) ground glass to the new sensor. Since a camera lens is not a thin lens, these numbers should not be over-interpreted.FOCAL-LENGTH OFFSET FARTHEST-FOCUSmm mm m===================================240 1 58 4 15135 1 19 4 580 1 7 4 2 5 |

[Stills & Video] This my first professional level full-frame DSLR...and I'm absolutely in love with it! The camera takes amazingly sharp, detailed images. It's controls and functions are intuitive and easy to navigate. The focus system is incredibly complex; I'm still trying to figure it out. But so far the images I have taken had accurate focus. I am using this camera with a 24-70 f/2.8 and it is performing wonderfully! 5 |

[Additional] I have been using a Canon full frame camera for years now but I have often questioned it because of how much it weighs and how large it is for doing landscapes while hiking. I've always been told that full frame is the only way to get proper photos and the creamy bokeh and all that. I have to say that after using the OM-5 I can see that what I was told is a total myth. I can get as good or even better results with this smaller mft sensor than with a full frame sensor. When I say better I am talking about its amazing features like 50mp hand held photos which are amazing, the live ND, built in focus bracketing and all in a much much smaller package, even the lenses are a fraction of the size and at an even more affordable price. It feels liberating to switch to micro four thirds and I recommend it for everyone who photographs in the mountains. 5 |

I have found these green swabs perfect for cleaning my full frame sensor cameras. They get right into the corners and rarely leave any residual if used properly 5 |

[0.35 lb] This is a top-notch focal reducer and field flattener. I tested it with the Lunt 152mm f/7.9 refractor and a full-frame camera (Canon 6D) just to see how good it is. Exactly 0.7x reduction, and even on that full-frame sensor, stars are pinpoint sharp edge-to-edge. I was astounded! The only problem that I found, which always affects these setups, is vignetting. That could probably be improved if Explore Scientific put a 48mm instead of a 42mm camera adapter on the unit, or made one available. I could not find anything on the market that size that fits this reducer. Vignetting is less of a problem if you are using a camera with a smaller sensor, such as APS-C or still smaller ones. Also, don't forget that if you want to use this with a 2" draw tube (which most scopes have), you'll need to buy the 2" adapter, ES part #510364. I don't know if B&H sells that but it is available. 5 |

[f/1.8] 18mm is a fun lens to shoot with on a full frame sensor. It's very versatile in architecture and outdoor scenarios, it has a very immersive feeling when moving in video. The focus is fast and accurate on the S5iix, and it is lightweight and truly a pleasure to use. 5 |
