Dual Connector Usb Flash Drive

[0.03 lb] Nano USB flash drives can be a real chore to remove, especially from recessed ports -- the smallness that helps keep them from being caught on something can also make them difficult to get a hold of. This PNY flash drive contains a very useful hole perfect for a lanyard, keychain, etc. Performance-wise, the PNY flash drive tested fine on my old hardware's add-on USB 3.0 ports. Machine is running Win 10 and old HD Tach (see photo). Interestingly, HD Tach froze up trying to test another 64GB flash drive, so the PNY is doing something correctly the other did not. Overall, the flash drive seems well-made, with a metal connector, not plastic. No winking LED. The connector cap is snug enough that it should keep from falling off.

[0.02 lb] We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

[256 GB] This tiny Flash drive is a godsend for my iPad with its lightning connector. The iXpand drive even comes with an ingenious USB-A connector on the opposite side. After installing the free iXpand app, iPad and iPhone storage as well as data transfer to a Windows PC are finally problem free. Hats off to the SanDisk developers for finally making this so easy!

[Plastic] I bought this flash drive to backup the OS for my new laptop. The drive is fast enough using either connector. My only word of caution is with the string thingy. It doesn't come attached, and it's tricky to figure out on your own. But since it's only useful for keeping track of the cap and putting the flash drive on a keychain, I didn't take any points off for it. It was kinda fun to figure out how to put it on.

I love having both an 'A' and a 'C' connector on one drive, with the rotating cover providing protection for the 'C' connector. Performance was excellent! Great price and fast shipping. [32 GB] Just the right size, so it is small, but not so small as to easily get lost like the tiny thumb drives that hardly have anything to grab onto when they are plugged in, and are so easily misplaced or lost on a busy desk due to being too tiny. Best yet, it has a USB-C connector on one side, and swivels to a USB-A connector on the other end. Makes it easy to transfer data, pictures, or videos quickly from PC's, laptops, MacBooks or iPads with a USB-C port, to other USB-C devices, or also to other devices without a USB-C port. I love both the small, but decent size of the drive, and the capability to use it for either or both USB-C and USB-A ports. 32 GB is also a decent memory size, for backing things up, storage or transferring files. I have both PC's, MacBook Air (2) and three iPads. I just had to reinstall Windows after a crash, and used this drive to do a recovery drive for the PC. Now, if my PC crashes again, I can recover it easily, with this as my recovery drive. I highly recommend this drive.

[6.8 x 4 x 0.7"] This connector allowed me to connect my USB-c external drive to an older Macpro and transfer 4 TB of data with no errors, unlike a prior connector I had. I highly recommend this.
