In researching the specifications for the cable I found it to be a step up from the others. I was looking for specs that would drive my high resolution monitor 2048 x 1152. When it arrived I could tell the quality was what I had expected. It has worked great with the monitor and I am very pleased with this product.

[2] Installed easily on my new Ergotron WorkFit-S Dual Monitor with Worksurface+ so I now have a 24" monitor on one side, and the laptop functioning as a monitor on the right side.
