Dvi Cable Hdmi Adapter

[28 AWG] Had to buy this because I realized I needed a DVI-D plug instead of a DVI-I. I was using a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, but this cable is essentially a cable and adapter in one, no need for clunky adapters, works great!

[1x Barrel Input] I bought this wanting a very short cable from HDMI and DVI and it worked very well.

[12 VDC, 1 A] I have a gtx 980, It comes with 1 DVI port, 1 HDMI port and 3 Displayports. To get surround working on 3 monitors i needed to get an adapter from Displayport to DVI. This was the adapter I bought. It works flawlessly and I couldnt be happier with it. B&H was very fast on shipping my adapter out, I had it only 2 days after i submitted the order!

[0.155 lb] My new computer has a Display port and an HDMI port. My monitor is connected via a DVI port. This cable works perfectly, I don't have to replace my monitor.

[Active] Have used lots of these already - adapting either an older motherboard with no HDMI port from DVI-D (or DVI-I) to HDMI, or at the monitor end. I have never had an HDMI cable become accidentally dislodged from the adapter.

[HDMI Female] This is a good quality cable that I am using to connect the DVI port on my nVidia GeForce card to a second HDMI monitor. The cable has a quality feel to it and is likely to last a long time. As a PC builder I am familiar with the quality of StarTech products which have never disappointed.

[1x HDMI Male] I have a Mac Mini with an HDMI video output. I have an LG flatscreen monitor with both a VGA and DVI input. Apple wants me to spend $29 for a Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter; or $29 for an HDMI to DVI adapter. (You get the idea they are fixated on the number 29 . . . ) Plus I have to have the interim cable; that's 4 connection points instead two - never a good thing. OR B&H has a 3-foot HDMI to DVI cable, for NOT $29. One cable; two connection points. PLUS the cable itself is big-boy heavy duty thick. 'Nuff said.

[12 VDC at 4 A] OK, it is just a cable. A well-made one. The priceless part is that this cable replaced a contraption installed at a client between a monitor with DVI connector and a PC with an HDMI connector. This contraption caused flickering, color shifts and headaches. This cable gave a pristine picture. Since DVI and HDMI are digital, no signal conversion is needed. Sometimes the (right) cable is more than just a cable.
