Edge 50 Fusion Buy Online

[9] I owned the Velvet 56 and the Sweet 50. The best part of this lens are the focal length: 80, which is best for portraits (less distortions), and the edge blur which gives you a straight edge blur. One problem I found with the Sweeet 50 is the type of blur it has. It's radial/circular and sometimes it looks artificial. The blur of the Edge 80 seems to be more natural and perfect with portraits and fashion.

[62 mm] Bought the edge 50 with the composer pro II. And bought this one just in case I need it in the future. Turns out that I use this one often than the 50mm version. LOve this focal length for everyday use. Make. sure to purchase the adapter ring if you have plans of using filters in the future.

[62 mm] Camera: 7D APS-C. I have had an edge 50 but, at times find it a bit too long for the smaller sensor. This lens (edge 35) is just right. Works well and I think on the mirror-less, (with focus peaking), would be a great purchase. Not a primary lens and not for everyone but a nice addition to the toolkit for those times when you want something different. I am using magic lantern software on the 7D along with a viewfinder to get focus peaking. Makes for faster focusing.

[Proprietary] I bought this for my M9 based on many positive online reviews, and a relative unwillingness to pay $6500 to try a Leica. I have to say I am absolutely delighted with it. I have already produced images so much to my liking that I suspect I will never part with it (and I've already parted with several Leicas). I haven't used a Leica 21, but this lens is every bit the equal (if not better) in the quality of images it produces of the Leica 28/2.8, 28/2, 35/2, 50/2, 50/1.4, and 75/1.4. That it is offered at the price it is is just ridiculous.

[14 x 5.5 x 2.6"] I watched a lot of online reviews of The 50 before making my purchase. I wondered if this mic could really sound as great as they say. So I took the chance and bought it from my most trusted source, B&H! No regrets! This mic sounds fantastic and is easy to position with its polar pattern and sensitivity.

[Plastic] Could not find the OEM version on Canon's online store and it was around $50 on Amazon. This Vello hood appears to be identical and fits perfectly. It's a good deal!
