[4.65 lb] I had to order this last minute because the mandolin I ordered elsewhere canceled out on me. It was a Christmas present for my sister-in-law. This mandolin was shipped immediately and I received it in time - great service. The mandolin in very nice too. I have not played it myself, but my sister-in-law really likes it.

[1.54 lb] I am using this for recording violin, acoustic guitar, mandolin, and piano, and all sound great. I already own the mk4 and love it, but wanted something a little more directional that can reject some of the room noise, since I am not recording in a totally isolated environment. The mk41 sounds just as good as the mk4 and definitely cuts down on any background noise. Only downside is that I have less leeway to move around when recording, whereas with the mk4, which has a wider capture, it's a little more forgiving. But I got the mk41 specifically for this purpose to just focus on what's directly in front of it, and it's doing the job even better than expected without any loss of quality or musicality in the tone. Love it! And plus one for B+H's amazing customer service. They were extremely helpful.
