Electro Voice Bk 1 Condenser Microphone

[Gray] I'm a voice over actor and was previously using a usb condenser microphone for at home recording. I don't have the best sound proofing so decided to pick up a Dynamic mic and the Shure SM7B was the most recommended. It's been great as I don't have to fix as much in post with room tone and sounds coming from other rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from someone who has never owned even a condenser microphone and always just used my headsets mic this is a huge upgrade for me. I got the dynamic version from the condenser v2 because of the features like the lessening of background noise along with a much clearer and coherent voice. I may not be a streamer or a content creator, but with using discord so frequently and constantly being told my voice was cutting out or wasn't being picked up from my old headset this is a huge upgrade. Love the volume knob on the the mic itself. I can quickly turn myself down if I'm too loud instead of going into software configurations and so on. Crystal clear and nice bass catch for deep voices

I Have used this mic in two radio and TV jobs over the years... and as Professional announcer and DJ, I want my voice to sound the best it can... I needed a Foam Windscreen to prevent Popping of P's and this excellent EV Foam Windscreen does the job. Sounds GREAT, Fits the Mic and Looks GREAT, too! Thanks!

[›75 ohms] Works as advertised, very pleased. I tried it with my Electro-Voice 635A handheld mic, which does not have power or audio adjustment settings, so it's levels are often too low. This Polsen inline XLR preamp boosted my volume from the mic and did not cause any noise or distortion from what I can tell. If you look at the pictures I uploaded, you can see the difference in volume with and without this preamp. As you can see it was pretty significant. This will be handy when I need to boost the volume without raising the gain internally in the camera. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[26 to 32 VDC] We installed this product in a Mexican restaurant with a total of 10 electro voice speakers. Amp gives enough power to make all the speakers sound amazing. Looking forward to using this for future installs.
