Electronic Keyboard For Ipad

[2.285 lb] After several efforts to make an iPad more than just a browsing and gaming gadget, I dove deeper with the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. iOS 13 convinced me that the iPad might be more useful than previously. The iOS makes a big difference, but having a real keyboard to use with it, made the iPAD Pro a home run. I'm very satisfied with this keyboards performance and functionality. The Apple smart keyboard is too limited for my needs (think: emaciated super model) and the big bulky overbuilt keyboards negate the advantages of the iPads diminutive size. I can't speak to it's durability as I've only had it a couple of months. So far so good. I'm actually using the iPad Pro more and more for emails, writing and everyday tasks that I gave up on with my previous iPAD 2 and iPAD Air 2. It is quickly becoming a replacement for my MBP for mobile computing needs. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro, along with an Apple Pencil is a big part of that transition.

[iPadOS] I have a Magic keyboard for my IPad Pro, and love it-but it only works as a cover and keyboard. At times I want to use my iPad Pro as a writing pad, necessitating taking it out of the magic keyboard. The Smart Keyboard, while laking the touch pad, fold back allowing me to use my ipad with the Apple Pencil. I love it.

[0.095 lb] I got this to hold small electronic devises such as iPhone or iPad used for stop motion animation and video when working with middle school kids. I wish the pan lock had a different style of knob with better leverage for tightening but since this is made for small devices it's okay. An absolute lock would be a great improvement and maybe I should I have purchased the version without rotating pan base because with a tablet mounted to it, the leverage of that bigger devise can out power the screw lock.

[Yes] The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.
