Eos R L Bracket

[Arca-Type] This works perfectly with the Canon EOS R5 whereas my RRS L bracket limited the use of the tilt screen on the camera...hence the purchase. More than satisfied. With the protruding pins on the plate it definitely prevents plate pivot or unknown loosening. This plate should provide many years of service on my R5.

[1/4"-20 Female] This L Bracket is made to fit perfectly the Canon EOS R5 camera with the Battery Grip (not made for the WiFi grip which is a little taller). One can access all the connectors and change batteries without any difficulty pulling the battery drawer. I have several products from the Really Right Stuff. [Brown] The DM-E1 works perfectly with our EOS R5, EOS R and EOS RP Cameras. Sound is clear and the mic has a wide, flat frequency response. This is a true stereo array in a single housing that looks like a plain mono shotgun. The variable angle settings are a huge advantage for music recording situations and allow simple control of the amount of room reverb present. The internal electronics are quiet and the sensitivity is relatively high. When mounted directly on a hot-shoe it's possible to pick up some focus motor noise,, but moving the mic a few inches away with a Vello, or similar multi-cold-shoe bracket will minimize that noise pick-up. The attached cable is long enough for use with a 5 to 7 inch offset bracket. Off camera use is possible as long as you have a well-shielded 3.5 mm stereo mic extension cable. Be sure to use a shielded microphone extension, NOT one an unshielded one intended for headphone use. Also, it's probably a good idea to always carry a spare 2032 coin cell battery since this mic is useless if the battery dies.

[3.6 oz (102 g)] This is my second Sunwayfoto L-Bracket. After mostly enjoying the small size of the EOS 90D, I decided to take the battery pack off my 5D mark IV so I can carry them both in a fairly shallow backpack. That required a new L-Bracket, and with top fit and finish for $50, why spend multiples of that on an aging camera. Got the usual quick shipping from B&H.
