[DLP] Compared to Epson projectors, this is a superior model. Precise imaging and really bright. Well worth extra cost.

[Yes] This is a review for the Epson EF-11 Laser Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have had a few different projectors. The first two thoughts that popped in my mind during set up were (1) how compact and lightweight the projector is and (2) the stunning image quality. Pros The setup took less than 2 minutes. Pairing a phone or connecting the HDMI was smooth and quick. The video and image qualities are extremely sharp, even from afar. Adequate HD audio quality which is surprising for a small projector. Does not generate extreme heat like my old projectors. For a lightweight projector, constructions seem high quality. Cons I mistakenly inserted 128 GB USB Drive for my test, which seems to be too much for this projector. A lesser capacity USB Drive worked fine. So this does not concern me. We watched a few movies and videos with popcorn and loved it.

[0.96 lb] I just purchased a new 4K Epson projector for my home and as I have done for my previous home projectors, I always buy a spare bulb right away. I probably won't need if for at least three years, but just in case, I'll have it hand if it goes early. The price from B&H was the best out there and it clearly was an original Epson product. Here's hoping that I DON'T need it from some time to come.

[0.33:1] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Epson EpiqVision EF11 is most magnificent Laser projector I have ever tried. I used many Epson projectors, they all have their cons and pros. But this? Epson Epiq is awesome. Not only the superb quality that Epson always delivers but also the size have impressed me. Never have I seen such a terrific quality projector in such a small size. Output is great, the further away and bigger the projection screen the better is the quality. Fan is very quiet, the output speakers on Epson is plenty loud. It does come with HDMI and usb ports for pc and usbs but I much prefer and liked the function that it has MirrorCast which I am able to project my whole phone on the screen, no lag, no bugging out whatsoever. The sheer size of this projector is great for travels, especially for camps, just grab a small generator for the power. Pitched the idea of implementing this kind of projectors to my school work place and they are looking into it. Highly recommend it just because of quality and size alone.

[Yes] I was considering a few different projector options but decided to go with the Epson as I am quite sensitive to rainbow effect with DLP projectors. I have no regrets going with this model. Set up and alignment were very easy, it looks great and it is easily bright enough to run in eco mode full time except when the room is very brightly lit. I have tried doing some light gaming with it and the response time is totally fine. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a home projector.

[36.29 lb] Having had previous projectors from Epson, I was blown away by the quality of picture, short warm up period and silent operation of this projector. Truly a major step up. Loving the laser light source (vs bulb) and the 4k is eye popping.

[8.5 lb] This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is my first Epson projector though I own a few LED projectors that are not nearly as good. The Epson Powerlite 1781W is more than half the size and weight than my other projectors. It is similar to the thickness of an older laptop. One thing that totally "Wow's me" is the auto fitting to the screen. My older projectors need to be lined up perfectly and the only corrections possible were manual focus and keystone correction, with the Epson projector a simple one touch automatically fits it to the screen. The brightness and color accuracy is amazing. Even in a lit room you can read or watch what is on the projector. My old projectors only worked in a dark room. The fan is somewhat noisy as is common with all similar projectors. The sound is not that loud so I use it with an external speaker for clear crisp sound. It comes in a carrying case making it easy for travel and demonstrations. The app makes it easy to control content from your smartphone straight to the projector. If you are looking for a high quality projector that produces clear images, has quick setup and is portable this a clear winner. My only recommendation is to bring an external speaker for better sound.

[46" / 117 cm] I work for a University and have been struggling with remote controller for projectors. They disappear, batteries die.... and other options like Extron or Crestron classroom control systems are VERY expensive. PixiePlus works with any projector that has an IR remote, so ANY projector! Its true it is designed and pre programmed for Epson projectors only, however the learning mode allows the PixiePlus to learn any remote control button press to any of its available buttons. It literally took me 5 minutes to program mine, first time ever trying, and works perfectly. The only draw back would be if there was a specific function you had to use that there isn't a button on the remote control for. so watch for that. But otherwise great product, looks nice, works perfect. Also noteworthy to mention you will need a Cat5e cable which is not included, and I don't think mentioned when you order. thats and extra $5 so no big deal.

[Download] This control system is excellent. It works with Epson projectors out of the box, however I use all InFocus and it's remote learning functions make it simple to program and easy to use. You can have one of these up and running and controlling a projector in literally minutes (save the install and wiring of it, of course) It comes with several pieces you can switch out on the control surface for each of the three areas of control. Power, source select and volume up/down, to match your needs. It also has a blank panel if you are installing in a room that you want the users to have very little control other than on and off. It glows a nice blue color for easy use in a dim or dark room, fits in a single gang box which can be mounted on the exterior of the wall with cable raceway for the easiest possible installation (you don't event have to cut thru walls!) Just make sure if you use the IR with remote learning and you don't have an epson, that your projectors remote control has the functions you want the panel to have. you can only program the panel to do things the remote control has buttons for....
